We went here for New Year’s Eve, and it was a great time. We had Kelsey as our waitress, and she was amazing! It was jam packed full of people, and she still was out getting us new drinks so fast! She even participated in our little game we were playing at our table when we asked her to!

Was busy when we arrived so was expecting a longer wait. It took over a hour for food but when the kitchen is cooking for a table of 20+ it happens. The manager came over and said due to the wait we were not going to be charged for our meal, which was completely unnecessary. Food was amazing and service was outstanding, highly recommended.

Horrible experience. I’ve been three times but only stayed long enough to eat once. The other times I was ignored for regulars. I waited 20 mins to even have someone recognize I was there; in favour of talking with regulars. Didn’t even finish my over priced beer that tasted like dish soap. Will NEVER be back. Unless you are someone the staff knows, DON’T BOTHER WASTING YOUR MONEY.

EDIT: Been here many times but got kicked out for not having ID. Be aware even if you don't drink and no one at your table orders alcohol ID is mandatory.

The poutine was delish, every curd melted. My partner got the 8oz steak special was only $20 today. Just be aware it is a real pub, pop costs a bit more and no kids allowed, but that's just perfect for me. Can't wait to come back for the drag bingo ivsaw advertised.

Came for a family event. Our server was Kelsie who at first mentioned the poor service was due to a new bar tender but after watching throughout the course of the night (5hrs) we seen her constantly standing at the bar twiddling with her hair. Asked for soft drinks and each time took over an hour to get. Also while watching noticed that the "new bartender" was actually hustling and busting ass to get shit done. Food was good, ordered potatoe skins which had unfortunately cooled off more then likely due to hair twiddling. Pulled pork nachos were stellar, overall establishment was excellent.

If I walked in and got the same waitress I'd walk out as fast as it took me to sit down.

Average at best, server went awol for way too long, no thank you for tip when paying bill, the stuff ya gotta do well in the service industry, yeah she wasn't feeling it.

Food - they should cut their menu down to bar food - anything other than wings and appies you can do better almost anywhere. Pulled Pork Sandwich, dry crusty bun, no moisture, literally rehydrated the bun with wife's crappy excuse for Au Jus that came with her Beef Dip - both duds, I would stay away from entrees.

Friday night, live music was good, for sure. That's most of Bear's Den's value - regular live music.

Terrible service terrible food. What happened to your food? The dry ribs were so chewy it was like gum they were so overcooked. So gross. The fries were inedible cold and soggy nobody at our table could eat them. The burger was wayyyyy over cooked. The place was empty when we went how does this happen? The waitress well she topped the cake uninterested, annoyed we were there and very unfriendly. Spent most of the time chatting with her buddies at the bar then attending to the three tables she had. I had to walk up and get refills on drinks because she couldn’t be bothered. Terrible horrible I will never return here or support this business again.

Loved this place for lunch. We went on 1/2 price wing Wednesday, and the wings were great. There was a great variety of flavors and the turkey club was delicious. I highly recommend the chippers as a side. Service was fast and friendly.
