Après un faux départ avec une erreur de facturation, j’ai réalisé une dégustation et je dois dire que j’ai beaucoup aimé leurs bières. Elles sont excellentes. Le lieu également est très sympa avec un côté bar et restaurant. Je retournerai vous voir à mon prochain séjour sur Halifax. Ps : bravo à la réactivité de l’établissement qui m’a tout de suite remboursé un surplus de facturation. Merci 🙏

Well…I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but damn how disappointing.
I used to love New Scotland brewery and the food there but these new owners, they don’t got it, and I am sad to see them go.

Important to add that I noticed that these reviews are intertwined with reviews from the previous New Scotland Brewery and old owners. I am strictly reviewing the NEW Beaversden. This is gonna be deceiving if you see those high stars and go in to this place.

Four of us went and the only thing that was decent were the pretzel bites. Even the “mustard” that came with it was unpalatable. My sister and her husband ordered a 2 piece fish and chips, assuming it would be enough to share (like most other fish and chips you can get in this city), but the words out of her mouth were; they should be ashamed to serve this in the maritimes. Extremely unfresh fish, soft, rubbery coating and the size was disgraceful. The coleslaw stayed on the plate, but hey, the French fries were actually good!
I order the pulled pork tacos, they were bland and incredibly messy, BF had a $28 brisket plate and although the brisket was decent it was only served with a small piece of cornbread and bland carrots.
I also had the beet and goat cheese salad but even that just tasted like they coated it in oil (no balsamic flavour from the dressing at all), and I don’t even think that was real goat cheese as that was also flavourless. Two of us ordered Pepsi, and even one of those had zero flavour and was just dark coloured flavour carbonated water and we had to ask for another one.
The server was ok, but didn’t seem to know much about the menu, and we were the only ones sitting at a table (maybe 4-5 people at the bar), this honesty should have been our cue to run. Downtown Dartmouth on a Friday night and not a soul there.
Don’t waste any of your hard earned money on this bland, minimalistic food, over priced food.

Not bad at all. Just one thing, the Lorenzo fried chicken had some Carolina slaw on the side next to the fries. The slaw is quite runny and turns the plate into a river. Eventually, it made things mushy, and the chicken tasted different by the end of the plate. A side dish would have been better.

Fun little brewery in the heart of downtown dartmouth! Huge venue with lots of different beer and food options. Live music, at least on the day we were here from 8-10pm. Would be a perfect spot to gather with your friends for some fun!

If you’re looking for a good atmosphere and good food/drinks this is the place to go in Dartmouth. I stumbled in here one night and ended up meeting the owner and sharing conversation with other patrons and employees. The staff were wonderful and very friendly. The experience alone is worth going back. The food and drinks were really good and a fair price. I highly recommend.

My spouse and I had dinner at New Scotland Brewing Company last night. They have just opened their new location about 2 months in. There are some growing pains. We did not have reservations and we, like everyone else wanted patio seating, but it was full. We waited a little long to get seated and we’re offered a great selection of beers but a bunch of the taps were not working. We ordered our food and it arrived within minutes, almost too fast. My wife ordered a glass of wine but it got behind a bunch of flight orders so I had to ask for it. The response was that” I put the order in” Food was really good, much better than pub I had shrimp pasta dish and she had exceptional good gnocchi with Brussels sprouts. We look forward to going again when they get the front of house / back of house better coordinated.

Nice looking place, atmosphere is good, good location. Went to stop by and sit on the patio on one of the first nice days in May. Unfortunately, my girlfriend and I both received warm and flat beers. After tip the price for two beers came out to $25 which is pretty steep in my opinion. Seems like a nice spot, but wouldn't go back for a drink.
