C'est super cette auberge, la plus belle que nous avons vue à Terre-Neuve en 2 visite , c'est très propre et élégant. On peut même voir des baleines de notre chambre ! c'est vraiment très charmant, seul point qui pourrait déranger : ce pas super très bien insonorisé, mais étant tranquille c'est pas vraiment un problème, dépendant de vos plans! marché d'alimentation à 5 minutes en auto. East cost trail très proche aussi, cela pourrait être un arrêt pour vous pour une nuit confortable. Nous avions même fait livrer des trucs à l'auberge avant de partir pour la suite de l'aventure pour allégé notre sac à dos.

We loved Newfoundland and had an absolutely wonderful time. The Bread and Cheese is a lovely house. Paula and Pablo are extremely professional and deliver their fantastic meals with great focus and dedication. We enjoyed our stay here though it was slightly less relaxed than other places we stayed in Avalon.

This was our favourite place to stay for our whole trip. Quiet and beautiful location. Paula and Pablo go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying yourself. The place was so cozy we spent a day just relaxing and going for walks while other guests took advantage of the many things to do and see in the area. Breakfast was great! Only regret was we were not there for any days they were serving dinner at their bookings only restaurant.

A wonderful Inn with lovely views, hospitable hosts, lovely places to sit outside and bright rooms. Breakfasts were amazing with many choices leaving us full enough to not require lunch! |Dinner was a delight! It is obvious that Pablo has a passion for food and for sourcing locally available ingredients and elevating them. Breads and desserts by Paula were all made from ‘scratch’ and a wonderful addition.|Conversations with Pablo were a highlight!!|Coffee, tea, water and cookies available at all times and a lovely sitting room in which to enjoy.|Our only (not even a concern) more bafflement, was that our beds were not made and bathroom not refreshed daily. Even small motels do that. I’m not talking stripping beds, just room refreshment - especially the bathroom. That was a total surprise to us. |Otherwise, this Inn is high on our list of recommendations to anyone!

We stayed at The Bread & Cheese Country Inn for 3 nights as part of an organized hiking trip with Great Canadian Trails. Paula and Pablo are excellent hosts and made our stay very comfortable. Our room was comfortable, the food was delicious, we enjoyed watching a fox trot by the window every evening, and it was nice to be able to do an out and back hike on the East Coast Trail while we were there.

We stayed with Paula and Pablo and they are excellent hosts! They have a beautiful spot and their place is super clean. I have never eaten at a B&B with such amazing food, our stay was outstanding! We will defiantly be back!

Beautiful Country Inn in best location.
The rooms are large and bright and stylishly furnished!
The view of the rooms is outstanding, because there is so much beautiful nature around and we assume, that you always see the bay of Bay Bulls.
The section of the East Coast Trail, which starts near the Inn, is so gorgeous.
In Bay Bulls you have the possibility to take a boot tour to see whales, dolphins and the largest puffin colony in North America.
In the morning, you can choose from 5 different breakfast, you can choose the breakfast time every day independent and there is a possibility to take dinner in the evening.
