The host was very friendly and made us a nice breakfast with homemade granola, eggs, and an assortment of teas/coffee. The room was quiet and very clean. You have access to a small deck in the woods with a beautiful view of the lake and also a dock directly on the lake. The BnB was about 25 minutes from downtown Halifax. This was a great experience and I would return.

Would give way more stars if I could. Beautiful location, gorgeous upstairs deck area. Easy access to a stunning dock on the lake. Sam is an absolute gem of a host. The place is extremely clean, very spacious, has a great view, and Sam made us an amazing breakfast in the morning. He is charismatic, easy to talk to, friendly and kind. Such a wonderful experience!!

Our wonderful hosts made us instantly at jome. The rooms were so comfortable and showers were great. Breakfasts were an event in themselves. Sam's specials were delicious. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Such a wonderful place, very comfy. It was gorgeous from the inside to the deck on the lake. We only stayed one night but we were very well taken care of. Sam is a great host and the homemade breakfast was amazing.

Sam & Kazue are a warm & welcoming host & hostess. We arrived late into Halifax airport but Burgundy Dream B&B was only 15 minutes from the airport, which was very convenient at such a late hour. The Burgundy Dream is located in a beautiful, quiet, lush lake region. We wish we could have stayed longer. Our "Blue Notes" bedroom was beautifully appointed and Sam made sure to point out where everything we might need was located. He is a seasoned B&B host and it showed. In the morning he served us a gourmet breakfast with yogurt, homemade granola, orange juice & freshly brewed coffee, along with fresh fruit, toast and an omelet of spinach, ham & cheese all served on an elegantly set table. Both Sam & Kazue, sat and chatted with us about our plans, where we are from along with their own life stories. It was so pleasant and it could not have been a more perfect way to start our Nova Scotia experience. We Highly Highly Recommend!

We recently had the pleasure of staying here. I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the host was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive to every detail. Check-in was smooth and efficient.

The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the modern amenities I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and the view from my window was breathtaking.

One of the highlights was the dining experience. The breakfast Made by Sam variety of fresh, delicious options, and served some of the best meals I’ve had on my travels. The service was impeccable, with sam and kaz going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.

Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The combination of exceptional service, comfort, and attention to detail makes a top choice for anyone visiting the area. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and hassle-free stay!

I had a very short stay overnight between my flights, but my experience was warm and welcoming. The hosts greeted me at a late check in and took care to pack me a breakfast to go, which was appreciated due to my 6am departure to the airport. I wish I had seen more of the area as it looked beautiful even at night time. The house and room was spotless and the bed was so comfortable, I couldn't wait to sleep.

My stay here was lovely. I stayed two separate nights in the blue notes room which was very cozy with a great view. The house in general is in pristine condition and very welcoming. Both times I had breakfast it was fabulous - far more than I expected. Sam and Kaz are wonderful hosts who are very friendly and open to chatting and sharing experiences. The location was great for me in that it was near the airport but tucked away in a cozy town. Will definitely be heading back whenever I go back to Nova Scotia. Thank you!!
