This is a very nice place to come for a bite and / or a drink. They offer many beers in tap. The food on the happy hour menu is not your ordinary 2ings and nachos. They offer many different and unique items. They had live music on the patio, which was nice, because it wasn't overly loud. Great place. Will definitely return.

Good portions, good food, friendly staff. It was my first time and overall enjoyed it. The only thing we didn’t really like was the drinks, because mine was advertised as sweet with a strong blueberry flavor (and it wasn’t even close to that) and my friend’s that was supposed to be a double was very watery instead.

Lively place! I was disappointed with my Mac and cheese.. for the price that it was I excepted more flavor. I thought my sister's poutine was okay but my sister didn't enjoy it. Loved my husband's burger (so did he)
I was happy with the waiter we had at first. He recommended a great drink I enjoyed. But then I think he left, and we were sitting waiting for someone to come ask if we were done. My husband asked who we thought was a waitress, but she gave my husband the cold shoulder and said I will tell YOUR waitress you want the bill and walked away. Then a lady we haven't seen before came and took the plates away while I was trying to finish up my sister's poutine she didn't finish. Was kinda shooked because I swear she saw me trying to gobble it all up 😅 she said she would bring us the bill, which she did right after she took the food away. Got a nice goodbye. Have a great night after she saw the tip my husband left. Wish we had that attitude before tho. This place was a hit or miss in some areas. Came because of the high ratings but a little disappointed.

Went here with 4 friends for drinks and food. Spent a decent amount. Food was fine, drinks were fine. Service was ok considering how busy it was. Waitress was nice. We sat on the patio for probably 3 hours continuing to order drinks the entire time. The one person that ruined the experience was some older guy in a blue shirt standing around watching us, waiting for us to leave so they could close the patio. He just stood there and stared at us and made me feel so uncomfortable. mind you it’s just hitting 1am, an entire hour before they close. At one point, he called my friends drunken idiots and then rudely told us to leave right after had paid and we’re just waiting for our friend to return from the bathroom before taking off. Won’t be coming back here just based off his bad vibes.

Good vibes. Feels like a place the 2020s never touched. Wish I could’ve take a photo of the fries but we inhaled them in 20 minutes . The crumbs were still crunchy after an hour. Highly recommend the charlatan fries.

It was a lively and nice café. Located on commercial Drive. Not cheap though. A bit overpriced. We chose this café because it had the highest rating on Google maps. We were happy with our choice. We ordered the fries and lemon pepper, chicken wings. I enjoyed sitting on the wooden chairs, and looking at the street and people sitting there. The bathroom was also clean. The service could be faster but the waitress was friendly.

We came by for nachos and a quick drink. Right away we sat for 20 minutes no water. When our server did come she looked miserable as hell. Did not greet us once we were sat. The inside restaurant was empty and there was 3 tables outside where we were. Our server seemed miserable. When my boyfriend got his beer it smelled like the glass was dirty and the beer was flat. Our nachos came with sour cream which has the consistency of mayo. I don't think it was sour cream. The nachos were not layered and we barely ate them because they were so bland. Food aside, if our server had been at least pleasant, I wouldn't have complained but it made the experience all the worst.
