its a great little pub on the way home. my wife said it was the best pork sandwich she ever tasted and the wings are legit and look more link drum sticks. this place is a gem and i enjoy going. the management is very strict on sending out fresh good food and they have a special menu which you can try that is fantastic and changed often! Enjoy.

Really loved the Wings @ this place ? of course the Beer was good too. But the wings omg, huge, saucy & cooked properly. 1/2 price on Monday & Wednesday can't be ignored lol. The "What a Jerk" flavored Wings were superb, Kansas City BBQ / Carribean Jerk, followed closely by "Sweet Baby Jack" also very good. Kansas City BBQ / Jack Daniel's... Service was excellent & friendly ?. Looking forward to coming again soon! ?️

Ps.- it's September 16th 2024... Why are they still closed?. Why is it taking this long to reopen? Very strange...

The bangers & mash were very good. The wings were enormous and tasty! The sticky toffee pudding cake was huge & delicious; came in long dish with whipped cream & generous scoop of vanilla ice cream, all drizzled with caramel sauce. Server made good white sangria. Service was excellent.

T’was a Thursday night and Facebook messenger, google ads and the Cookstown pub all orchestrated a private msg/coupon to me,
for buy 1 get 1 free pound of wings no other purchase required, I couldn’t afford not to.

6.9/10 (I prefer breaded wings) seems the Cookstown Pub only believes in the large naked variety.

They did have name that tune going on, and seemed family friendly. Was cheap pint night also.

Maybe i should have tried different flavors for the wings. We got the plain medium hot and no hotness in it. The beat part though is how crunchy the wings is outside and so so juicy inside. They are making oatrons oractice social distancing and everything was being santitized. It was a great experience. The liver was really good but i find the mashed potato bland but okay with gravy. Friendly folks.

Best wings in the County (Simcoe)!! My wife and I ordered a triple order, and the wings were HUGE! Usually when we get wings (at most other pubs) - on a wing night special - they look rather anemic (and I am told that a lot of places reserve their Smallest wings for 'wing night'). It is rare to get 10 wings when ordering a lb at these other places - usually, you only get 8 - which makes me want to question whether or not I am truly getting my $ worth.......

Not so at Cookstown Pub! I know perspective can get lost in cell phone pictures - so I left my knife in the pic for that reason! A triple order (24 wings minimum) and I'll bet there was almost 5 lbs of food!

I have never been disappointed with the service, and the fare @ Cookstown Pub!
Wing Nites are Mondays And Wednesdays - you don't wanna miss it!

Great little pub. Loved the pub style atmosphere. They have big screens to watch sports. Priced competitively, the food was great, and the staff were friendly. They regularly offer discounts and deals which are really good offers. Wings are a good size and good quality. It's definitely a good lunch or friend meeting/hangout spot. Their buggers/sandwiches looked "mouth watering" good, so I will have to go back and get one next time I pass through.
