My family and I have just moved to Canada from England and were driving through Sylvan Lake when we happened upon the Cove.

We were greeted with a friendly smile and were offered our selection of seating, we chose a booth.

We sat down and menus quickly appeared and we made our selection.

I chose the Cove Special burger which was a beast, my wife chose the Pesto Chicken Tagliatelli and my daughter chose a kids cheese burger.

All food was larger than expected and certainly represented value for money, the kids burger was the best one my daughter has had.

The pulled pork on the Cove Special tasted great as did the Italian Loaded Fries (Poutine if your Canadian)

The restaurant was quiet which suited us just fine but did have a steady flow of customers.

Oilers game on was a bonus.

Overall, we were pleased with our visit, food selections and our experience.

Had a really great experience at The Cove Restaurant. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were friendly without being overbearing. I ordered the creamy chicken tagliatelle with shrimp and it was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented—definitely a highlight.

The portions were generous, prices were fair, and the place felt clean and well-kept. Great spot for a casual dinner or even a small celebration. I’ll definitely be coming back.

My husband got “The Cove Special” burger and I got the pesto chicken pasta. Both of which were very delicious! Our server was also very friendly and helpful with suggestions. Definitely going to be our go to place when we go back to Sylvan.

I hosted my wedding welcome party at The Cove with over 100 guests, and I couldn’t have been happier with the experience. From the initial planning stages to the night of the event, Sam and his team were fantastic to work with—professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making everything perfect. They worked so hard to ensure everyone always had a drink in hand and that food was served seamlessly, which made the evening feel effortless for us. Great changes and renovations to the new restaurant. Food is great and considering that "The Cove" (Under new owners) is just getting started, I expect great results from them this upcoming summer and beyond.

The owner and his team were so accommodating to our group! We chose to host a wedding reception for 100 people at The Cove and they were truly lovely to work with. We had little bites which were delicious and the bartenders made great drinks throughout the entire evening. It was a great night, thanks to the team at The Cove.

Certainly a gem of Sylvan Lake! Go here if you want beautiful views, wonderful food, and welcoming service! You get a plethora of choices for good prices and a pretty ambiance on both floors.

A friend and I had dinner at the Cove this evening. We had a lovely time on the rooftop patio with a great view of the lake. The food was delicious and our server was absolutely wonderful. I have been to the restaurant several times and I've always had a great time and wonderful food.
