A very pleasant surprise. We come to Cobourg a few times a year and try to go out at least a couple of times on our 10 day vacation here every summer. This is our first time here under new ownership (with the new menu) and...Holy crap!

We were expecting a "good" but middle of the road dining experience from a location that averages $15-$20 per item. I had a Reuben sandwich ($16) that was surprisingly good. By good I mean "really" good. My wife had the Chicken and Goat Cheese wrap ($15) that she said, quote: "Is the best she's had". For someone to eat one bite of a sandwich and make a statement like this says something about the restaurant and the kitchen staff.

Lively, with live music (Sunday night) on the patio and friendly service. I was disappointed with the crispy honey glazed Brussels sprouts that were a little too burnt for my taste, but the portobello mushroom burger with a generous helping of fries was pretty good.

Avoid this place if you’re looking for a welcoming, family-friendly dining experience; the tense atmosphere and poor management make it anything but enjoyable. Treatment of both customers and staff was shocking. Our server was polite but visibly stressed, and we overheard the manager berating their team, making the entire experience uncomfortable. Don’t even get me started on the food - undoubtably frozen. This place fails to deliver on its promise of a cozy, welcoming dining experience. Look elsewhere if you want a spot where both customers and staff are treated with respect!

Was here with my parents for my Dads birthday! Ashley made great cocktails i think between the three of us we must've tried most of them on the menu and she was so fun and friendly! Atmosphere was great with the live music and regulars around which is always a good sign! Nachos were fantastic.

My wife and I come every week for “date night”. We normally have a beer or two and dinner. I have eaten most of the items on the menu, and have yet to have a bad meal. All of the servers (Kelley, Nab, Meaghan, Maddie, Dennis) are great, always cheerful and quick with service. The manager Brett is always around and takes the time to talk to customers! They have live music on Fridays and Sundays which we try to catch if possible. I recommend the Export if you are in the area and looking for a good meal at a reasonable price.

Amazing patio and menu options. It was my first visit to downtown Cobourg. They restored my faith in ordering a reuben sandwich. It was 9/10. Chef should try dark pumpernickel instead of marble rye imo...but regardless It was delicious. Our server was really funny and provided excellent service. I'll be back soon!

Was there for a company event where we took over the patio. Service was great, they took really good care of us. Rachel behind the bar was awesome at mixing up cocktails. The food was tasty. We were out on the patio with Bruce playing some great tunes.
