I recently had the pleasure of dining at Golden Spoon Restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! This gem of a place truly stands out as one of the best Indian and Nepali restaurants in Alberta.

I couldn’t get enough of their momos and biryani! The momos were perfectly steamed, bursting with flavor, and paired beautifully with their homemade dipping sauce. As for the biryani, it was nothing short of top-notch! Fluffy rice infused with aromatic spices and tender meat made it a memorable dish that I'll be dreaming about for days.

What truly enhanced our meal was the stellar customer service. Mr. Krishna was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience. His recommendations were spot on, and his warm demeanor made us feel right at home.

If you’re in Alberta and craving authentic Indian and Nepali cuisine, I highly recommend Golden Spoon Restaurant. You won’t be disappointed! Can't wait to return for another delicious meal!

This place is Amazing!!!was in city for a while and visited here a based on my friend’s recommendation.The wait time(without reservation)was shorter then expected.The service was quit fast and outstanding!we had a Chicken momo, butter chicken, goan fish curry, cauliflower dry, garlic naan and called it (DESI LEMONADE)my friend’s recommendation was prefect choice.All goes 10/10 we will be returning next time with more family and friends.Thank you entire team for your wonderful hospitality.

We ordered veg noodles, there suppose to be signature dish “soya chaap”, veg momos and masala tea.
To start with the noodles, they were broken pieces of noodles and completely tasteless. Hakka noodles are not like this.
We requested the food to be medium spicy and it was just salted which shows the attention to the food requests being made by the customer.
Momos were average but here comes the best part there signature dish was a “Disaster”. The curry was uncooked and the chaap was bland. With Masala tea, again no masala just milk and tea leaves.
All in all a terrible experience!! The only good part was the service and the green chutney.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this restaurant. I found a hair in the soup I ordered, which was not only unhygienic but completely unacceptable. When I called to address the issue, the response I received was, “You can come and get a refund.”

I had already had a long and tiring day, and the whole reason I ordered from this place was to avoid cooking and have a stress-free meal. Instead, I was met with poor service and no real effort to make things right. Expecting me to come back for a refund after such an experience only added to my frustration.

This level of service is unprofessional, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Hygiene and customer service should always be top priorities for any restaurant, and unfortunately, this place failed miserably on both fronts.

We had an amazing time eating here with family.The food,the background music as well as the amazing waitress made our time even more likable.The overall atmosphere of the place reminded me of my time eating in India with my friends which made me even more connected to the place.Would definitely come back for another meal but they can improve their tea takeout cups a little-bit as they do not have stable lids.

We ordered chana-puri and bhature it was a big order for family gathering.
There was a huge stone in sabji, kids were eating too. Its really irresponsible and unhygienic. What if someone just swallowed it ?
