We have been to the Hat’s Olive Tap a bunch of times and it is always a lovely experience. The staff is super helpful and friendly and will let you try any olive oil or vinegar and suggest flavour combinations and how to use them with different food. They have a wide selection and I have been collecting them, as they add a missing zing to many types of food, from Asian to Mediterranean.

The food is excellent there as well and we have been there several times for lunch and it is always very tasty. The baking is excellent as well and we had the blood orange brownies last night and they were delicious! A foodie lovers shop for sure and I appreciate that they have Asian flavours as well, as I make a lot of Japanese food. The customer service is at another level and all of their staff are helpful and friendly.

Planting olive orchards, harvesting the fruit and compressing it into oil, a tradition started centuries earlier, but the produce, until a few decades ago hard to come by. (The climate in Canada is not favourable for plantations and users must rely on other countries for the delivery. )

Inside Madison showed me around, introducing not only the many different types, but also the variety of byproducts.

Stephanie brought chickpea salad, ice water and fresh limonade from the kitchen. Compliments to the chef — it was like being on an olive plantation with a homegrown vegetable garden - the freshest tasting salad ever!

The Tap has so much character with adorable paintings, wooden furniture, spice racks, creams and glass bottles to fill up.

Great place for lunch, lot of options for both meat lovers and vegetarians. I had the Rambo rueben sandwich and my daughter got the chickpea pesto salad. Both were delicious. They also have a large selection of flavoured olive oils and balsamic vinegars. They also have a variety of salts. Great place for foodies.

Can't say enough fabulous things about this place! Amazing staff and outstanding food! The owner, Carmen, is lovely. The staff are extremely knowledgeable about their oils and vinegars and I love how they use these in their creative homemade dishes. The Mexican Chicken (ask for it charred, it's the best!) and the Blood Orange Carrot Cake are my absolute favorites 😋 I frequent this establishment once every 2 weeks... at least 😁

Very clean, very friendly staff, excellent selection.
The suggestion cards were a nice touch. We were there purchasing a present for someone, so that was excellent to include in their present.
There was a little Bistro with excellent suggestions.
Prices were comparable with other similar stores we've been to, so that was good.
Overall, very impressed, would go again next time we are in the area.
