I have stayed at the Inn on four or five occasions and have enjoyed myself immensely. The owners, Dorothy and Mike, are the greatest, friendly and truly likeable. It is almost like you are guests in their own home. My only beef is that after several years renovating and operating the Inn, they have decided to sell and return to the coast. Must get another visit or two in in 2025.

Myself and three friends did a bike trip, started with Nelson for a couple nights, then headed towards the Fraser Canyon, one of the group knew the owners Mike and Dorthy and had stayed there before, very quaint older property. Lots of history, very well kept property, comfortable rooms, great area to mingle with friends and family, right on the river, great breakfast in the morning, but the most impressive thing was the owners Mike and Dorthy , so very welcoming and hospitable, make you feel like family. We will most definitely be back.

This is a real gem, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The owners, Mike and Dorothy went above and beyond and are wonderful humans. The place is clean, comfortable and cozy. Homemade breakfast and coffee a welcome treat. Unique and awesome experience!

What they say about small towns is true, I stayed at the Inn at Spence's Bridge for business, and within 2 hours of being here, I fell in love with it. Dorthy and Mikey at the Inn are such kind-hearted and welcoming people that welcomed us in like family. The hotel is right next to the river. Don't forget to bring your fishing rod. there are great fly-fishing spots within walking distance. just across the river, I recommend going to the Packing House for AMAZING food, everything on their menu is worth trying. This place is a gem full of welcoming folks. If you have a bit of time to kill, I highly recommend taking a short hike to the bottom of the waterfall for some Instagram-worthy pictures.

I first came across the Inn at Spencer Bridge by chance on my way home a from Kamloops. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly faces that welcomed me. I was provided a beautiful large room with picturestque views of the mountains, the river and the trains! What an experience to witness the trains from the patio terrace! The bed was comfortable and the complimentary breakfast in the morning was delicious! I returned about a month later for a 5 day stay for business because i had such an enjoyable previous experience. i was not disappointed.. The owners, Dorothy and Mike go above and beyond to ensure their guests have an enjoyable trip. The terrace, full of beautiful flowers and located on a bench overlooking the river, mountains and trains is an excellent place to relax and take in the beauty that surrounds you in the Canyon. The historic Inn provides a glimpse back into history with unique items carefully curated throughout. I can't wait until my next stay.

Dorothy and Michael were the most gracious hosts! Our room was cozy and comfy and well appointed. We had everything we needed and were given what we didn't have. Hot tea, breakfast on the patio and a wonderful conversation about the Inn and it's history. The piece de resistance, a 120 year old piano that played itself! A wonderful oasis that I'd recommend to anyone.

I was part of a group of Motorcyclists from Victoria BC that stayed there for one night a month ago. Just have to say that this is one of those hidden gems and I am so glad I stayed here. The room I had was in the front of the Inn with a balcony and a great view of the trains going by. The room itself was clean, comfortable and cozy, The bathroom was also very clean and surprisingly big. Above all else, the owners and host, Dorothy and Mike were so very welcoming not only to me, but my riding friends as well. Both of them had a vast knowledge of the history of the area and even drove us over and picked us up from the local Pub! Well worth the cost of staying in a 150 year old former train station with 2 really nice owners. A word of warning for light sleepers though, the trains out front do run all day and all night, so use the ear plugs provided for you. For me I was woken up by the rumble and sound of the trains, but after a couple minutes I just went to sleep, and that's just another part of the charm of this place. When the Lower Island Riding Club does another ride through the area again, I'm sure we will stay there again or I'll just go there myself and maybe stay more than one night.

I stopped at The Inn for a night during my solo travels eastward to Ontario in the year 2009. To this day, I would say it is one of the most memorable places I've had the pleasure of spending a night to rest. The hosts were so warm and hospitable, the smell of fresh baked bread filled the air. Such a comfortable place to stop. I hope to return someday..
