I recently stayed at the Kanata Inn in Fort Saskatchewan for two nights, while taking part in a two day Craft Retreat. The hotel lobby, breakfast room, conference (craft) room, washrooms, hot tub were all meticulously clean. The front-desk staff, breakfast room staff and hotel room cleaning staff were all polite, helpful and always had a smile. The breakfast was very good; coffee was hot & food was good. The beds & pillows were very comfortable. The parking is easy too. While we were there it was cold & snowy, and the entire hotel was cozy & warm. The hotel rooms were quiet & clean. Wifi worked well throughout the entire hotel. This hotel is fantastic with an excellent customer experience.

My husband and I booked our guests in at this hotel for our wedding! We dealt with Amanda and the whole staff. All the guests felt comfortable and said they would stay here again! On top of it they gave my husband and I a free night for getting married!

We stayed here from Aug 12-15 and our stay was excellent. We arrived very late at night but were greeted by a very friendly check in person with smiles. She answered all my questions as we had two rooms booked and were traveling with friends. Both rooms were in exceptional state, clean with comfy beds and a fridge/microwave in each room. The one thing I really loved was the paper towel roll in each room. It's a small thing and may not mean much to many but we travel with a special needs child and I just found that to be really convenient when feeding her breakfast.

The breakfast was great every morning with plenty of options to accommodate all reasonable eating preferences.

Friendly staff and management all around. That told me that their employees are being treated well. It was evident in the pride they were taking in doing their respective duties.

The location is close to all kinds of conveniences and far enough from the hustle and bustle of Edmonton that one can really relax and feel comfortable staying here.

Definitely will stay here again.

Great rooms, good staff (very accommodating), very comfortable beds. The hot tub was pretty good and the breakfast was nice (decent variety).
I appreciate how clean the room and communal areas are and the tubs are wonderfully deep. An interesting touch is the historical photos in the rooms and dining area. I will keep Kanata in mind next time I travel as they have multiple locations in BC and AB. For the price, it is one of the best stays I've had.

Came in on a Sunday, McKenna was at the desk. When I arrived I asked some clarifying questions and she was horribly rude and disrespectful. Mckenna spoke to me in a manner that was absolutely unacceptable she was consistently passive aggressive and spoke down to us. Mckenna told me that I was lying, and that no one would've told me what I was told on the phone. She then told me the hot tub was broken. Even though there was no signage and the hot tub appeared fine. Seems as though she just didn't want us to enjoy it. Which we were unable to.
The complimentary breakfast was cold, old stuff and cheap sausage that made my stomach upset for the rest of the day. So you decide deal with rude people and trash food or find some where else to stay.

Also the room wasn't cleaned properly.

The reply from the owner says it isn't a typical experience. I would beg to differ. I assume it's likely better when he is available. However on the weekend when he's not around service declines.

I stayed three nights in a pet-friendly room. I will definitely stay here again. The room was sparkling clean. The facility was quiet, I didn't hear other guests or any outside noise. The a/c worked great. I enjoyed the option to stream from my tablet to the TV, and the free wifi. Staff was friendly and welcoming. I appreciated the room-darkening blinds with the hot weather we had. Thanks for a comfortable and cosy stay.

Stopped in after a long haul from work. It was a fantastic location with amazing jacuzzi room and we were able to relax before moving the last of my home to Saskatchewan. Staff was amazing, room was clean and comfortable, location was central and quiet.
