Staying at the hotel I got 10% off my meal.
I ordered a fillet mignon, seasonal roasted veggies with peppercorn sauce. I always order medium, bang on the cook temp. Veggies were cooked perfect, beats, beans, broccoli, asparagus and peppers.
Staff were friendly.
Clean washrooms.
Ample parking.
Good Keg, I’d go again.

Went out a birthday dinner at the Keg Medicine Hat. It was a wonderful experience overall. The restaurant was clean and well appointed. We were attended to by very attentive staff who accommodated one diner's gluten and lactose sensitivity.
We had the filet mignon, one regular and one with blue cheese. They were delicious and done to our specs. Our waitress was very efficient and attentive without being intrusive. Overall a very good first impression and we would recommend this to friends and we will return in the future.

Note we had already ruined the very nice presentation on the plates because we dug in before remembering to take photos.

We love coming to The Keg in Medicine Hat. Incredible food and service. On our last visit I forgot my wallet and the staff went above and beyond to get ahold of me and let me know (Note, we live few hours away). They are shipping my wallet and asked that I please let them know it arrives safely. Thank you so much to Logan and his staff for incredible customer service and care!!

Went here tonight with my wife to celebrate her birthday after dinner at home. Excited to have fancy cocktails. Welcomed kindly by host and asked about said occasion where she promised a dessert! Very cool indeed. Asked to sit at the bar for cocktails and the bartender mentioned the dessert but as soon as we mentioned we weren't buying dinner, her demeanor went awkward. Manager said a hello and mentioned the dessert but there was none given. We felt because we only spent $100 that we didn't deserve the kind dessert gesture. We ordered our desserts thinking they might knock one off but didn't. Was only irritating as staff mentioned the birthday dessert three times. Cocktails were amazing!!!

From the moment we opened the door we felt welcomed, we were taken to our reserved booth on the dining side and immediately waited upon. The booths were very comfortable, the music set at a level that made conversation enjoyable, temperature just right! Taralyn was our waitress and did a wonderful job, she was friendly, personable and told great stories. The horseradish was amazing, super hot and brought the heat!

Food was excellent - steaks, salmon, lobster were all great. However, service was not. A pile of plates with cutlery was just dropped off at the edge of the table for us to pass around to each person. For the prices, we expected the waitress to refill the wine glasses but we had to continuously do this ourselves. The waitress walked past our table several time avoiding eye contact despite empty wine and water glasses. The worst part was getting our bill before we were done and the waitress standing there waiting for payment. We were there for another full hour finishing drinks and not a single server came by to check on us or anything. At one point we had to get up and walk to the bar for drink refills!! It’s too bad the service is so terrible when the food was so good.
