Cute nails. Dedicated nail tech. Offered to fix my thumb after I had mentioned it was off. Although she did say that it was just the lighting. but I declined. Overall atmosphere was decent.

I don’t know if its only me , but they canceled my appointment second time till today.
I am leaving for Toronto today and scheduled haircut today at 11 and am getting text that she won’t be able to take me , at very last moment.
Worst thing I have ever experienced only with loft salon.
And if I asked that is there any other stylist available, she said no.
So what you expect your clients to do at very last moment?
Never booking with them from now on.
First choice haircutters are far better then them.

I appreciate that unforeseen circumstances, such as last-minute appointments or staff family emergencies, can arise. However, I'm concerned that your clients with pre-scheduled appointments are consistently being disadvantaged.

I've noticed a pattern of last-minute cancellations, which has personally affected me twice. While I understood the first instance, the second cancellation was unacceptable. It significantly disrupted my holiday plans, causing substantial inconvenience.

As a valued client, I expect a reliable scheduling process. I'm worried that your business may lose loyal customers due to these recurring issues. I urge you to explore solutions to better accommodate clients with fixed appointments.

I was really looking forward to something I had booked for today. I only booked it yesterday, it seemed only too lucky they had a time available over my lunch hour. It’s literally been 10 months since I had any free time with working full time, full time university and two teenaged boys. I was really looking forward to doing something that was just for me.

A haircut.

Then they called me to cancel (3 hours notice) because they figured someone else’s service was going to go over.

You didn’t just cancel a haircut. You cancelled my self care. My pick-me-up. My attempt to boost my self confidence and mood.

The fact that I’m this upset over it says to me how much I truly needed this. I’ve been working 70 hour weeks for 10 months and just wanted - no needed - something nice. A break. To be pampered for half an hour. I’ve been feeling down, burned out. Struggling. I had a terrible week, this was the cherry on top, truly.

To you, it was a cancelling a last minute appointment.
To me, it was taking away something it took me weeks to decide to do for myself.

I’ve only been here twice before and both times it was a good experience, but this time you don't even care enough to connect with me.

Had to cancel hair appointment because my cheque's did not get deposited. They wanted to charge me 140$ when my hair usually costs only 120$ even though I explained the situation. This is ridiculous!!

Went for a pedicure and Gel X extension nails today. My appointment was scheduled with Cloe, she was professional, knowledgeable and talented. My nails have never looked so good. I’m over the moon happy with the services I received. Great job Cloe!

This past Saturday was my second time going to the salon and they did not disappoint!! The first time was 6 months ago in April for a hair cut which included thinning my hair and getting layers, I loved how light it felt and how it instantly added more volume to my hair. The second time I went was to get my hair coloured for my birthday, my hair stylist gave me her honest opinion about the colour(s) I chose and opted for a slightly lighter look, I much preferred that over the reference photo I showed her. She was very gentle and kept great conversation. I’m absolutely obsessed with my new hair, thank you to Janelle and the Loft Salon!!!
