Une expérience absolument agréable. Ce B&B, situé au coeur de Stewiacke, est comfortable et rustique. À courte distance se trouve un resto qui fais un des meilleurs donairs dans la région. Les hôtes sont chaleureux et accueillants et on ne manque de rien pendant le séjour. Un hébergement bien recommandé!

While my wife and I were in Eastern Canada, we stayed in four different properties. This was our second favourite. The people who own and operate the property are very friendly and will do what they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast they make is made to order, fresh, and very delicious. The house and rooms are decorated in a very tasteful and quaint manner. It's like staying at your grandparent's house, only better. I love the old-world charm and character. They clearly put a lot of time and thought into how they decorated the house. Our room was quite comfortable, which brings me to my one and only gripe: The beds are too small. Our room had a double bed, which is far too small for two adults. I would suggest the owners invest in at least a queen bed for the room. There is enough space for one. Your guests would very much appreciate the extra room.

The Nelson House is perfect for anyone looking for a place to stay outside of Halifax but still close (by car) to the airport. We stayed for one night and got a good, comfortable night’s sleep followed by an excellent breakfast. The friendly hosts had good suggestions for local ‘touristing’ options (the nearby (by car) Shubenacadie Provincial Wildlife Park was was fun). The B'n'B is easy walking distance to Whistlers Pub (which offered a varied menu of above-average ‘bar food’ – the fish and chips were the best I had on our 10 day East coast trip). There are also numerous fast food and grocery options in the shopping area near the highway (about 1 km away).

The beautiful Nelson House B&B was a welcoming sight to see. I’m a sucker for verandas.|We had the Country Room which was light, spacious and furnished with everything we needed.|The breakfasts were awesome! Waffles were so fluffy and eggs Benedict were delicious, with Marla’s twist on the hollandaise sauce.|Thank you Marla and Darrell for an amazing stay!

Our stay was fabulous. The house is beautifully maintained and our hosts were so nice and friendly.|Breakfast was excellent and our wants were catered to as well.|Very close to other towns and about 20 minutes from Halifax airport.|Would stay there again if I visit in future.|Highly recommended!

We booked in very last minute when our flights shifted by 13 hours. Marla and Darrell were very hospitable and happy to help us out. Our stay was excellent from first communication to waving goodbye at the door. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated and the house itself was just so lovely. Breakfast by the window was delish and dietary restrictions, even at the last minute, were easily met.

Great 1-night stay at the Nelson’s house. The host Marla and Darryl were so friendly and welcoming. Room was super clean, and feels like home. Great location in town of stewiack. Close to a pub for food. The breakfast was either eggs Benny or waffle, both are amazing! Recommend to stay at this Bnb!
