Such a great local cafe! They offer tons of delish sourdough baking and sandwiches and serve Roasti beans (roasted in Sherwood Park). Staff are super sweet and they offer lots of cute, boutique items (great for gifts, baby showers, etc!). The atmosphere is cozy, stylish and relaxing. Will definitely be stopping here when we pass through Vegreville from now on!

I got an iced latte and it was one of the best I've ever had. The espresso came through very nutty which isn't what I normally go for but it worked so well. I can't eat to go back.
My mom got a hot latte and gives it two thumbs up.
The staff were friendly and enjoyable to talk to.
The bathroom was clean and had neat decorating.
We will definitely be back when we pass by again.

The food, drink and atmosphere are good in general. We ordered latte, sourdough banana bread and blueberry cheesecake. Having said that, I was quite disappointed to the staff’s service and response. When I took my order, the cheesecake was missing. I asked her the cheesecake was missed and she said “I didn’t put it in the order”. How come she can say this instead of checking the receipt? Moreover, the shop wasn’t busy and she prepared our order right after I paid. I told her to check the receipt because we paid $27 (including tips) which isn’t just 2 latte and a banana bread only. She checked the receipt and realised the cheesecake was missed.

Absolutely worth the drive. We’re from St. Albert and passing through. Stopped here and I would drive out to Vegreville just for their sourdough bagels. Their coffee is amazing absolutely next level. We also enjoyed their sourdough brownie and zucchini chocolate loaf. Hands down the best cafe!

A nice local coffee shop was missing from Vegreville when I first moved here, but the Nest has filled that spot perfectly! Lovely place to get a nice fancy coffee and excellent desserts. The cinnamon buns and lemon breads have been to die for! I don't usually get lunch here but the pesto chicken sandwich is my go to when I do. I appreciate that the lunch items I've seen offered are on the healthier side.
The prices in general are on the more expensive side so I can't stop in every day, but I say the same thing about Starbucks and this is much better (and local)!

The Neste Café in Vegreville had its highs and lows. The sourdough was flavorful and satisfying, and the hot chocolate was rich and enjoyable. However, the mocha wasn’t up to par, with an off-putting taste that disappointed. The " brownie truffle" dessert was the biggest letdown, with a texture that didn’t quite work and a flavor that didn’t deliver the indulgence one would hope for. All four of us tried to do not like it. While there are some redeeming qualities, the overall experience left room for improvement.

This little coffee shop is such a gem! Cozy, welcoming, and full of charm, with staff who make you feel right at home. The food is fantastic whether it’s soups, sandwiches, pastries, or desserts, everything tastes fresh and homemade. The coffee is exactly what every tired parent needs, and we love that there are plenty of choices for kids too. Hands down one of our favourite places in town!

The Nest is hands down my favourite spot in Vegreville! Cozy vibes, Incredible drinks, food & treats, and the staff are the absolute sweetest. You can just feel the love in everything they do. If you haven’t been, you’re seriously missing out!
