Bonne nourriture et nous en avons pour notre argent. Bonne bière locale. Le seul "hick" je dirais c'est le service. Nous avons été servis sans ustensiles et la serveuse nous apporter notre plat principal alors que nous n'avions pas terminé l'entrée. Elle nous l'a déposé sur notre table minuscule au milieu de nos entrées. Trop rush à notre goût.

We came here looking for vegan options and it didn’t disappoint! I got a curry power bowl with extra tofu, and my partner ordered a falafel pita with fries, just asking to remove the honey yogurt sauce. Both dishes were great.
It’s not always easy to find vegan options, so we’re really glad we did. The only downside was that they didn’t have a vegan dessert, and I hope in the future they’ll add at least one option.

On the waterfront in Historic Pictou. Friendly staff, a beautiful view from the patio. Had the trio de sol appetizer, perfect for sharing. The lobster roll and fish and chips were fresh and flavorful. As you can see from the photos, the portion sizes are quite large! In late June, there were no bugs on the patio.

Loved it. The seafood chowder and lobster roll were delicious. The servers were great. Super friendly and helpful. And the location can't be beat. Great view and breeze off the water.

Good food, a bit pricy but tastes amazing. Portions were a bit smaller than what we were used to. Had bison smash buger, was still hungry after. Most places we go to I have lots leftover so to leave still hungery was not great. Waitress was great. Bun was greasy on top and fries were a bit over cooked. The plate was small so it looked like a lot more then what was really there.

A very good dinner with excellent service from the young man who also ran the bar. We were a little put off by a couple of previous reviews that basically trashed the place, but our experience was totally positive. My wife had the spicy dill fish sandwich, which was excellent and a huge serving, and I had the mussels which were good, if not as big and plump as the best I have ever had before -- but the white wine broth was very good. Our server was more attentive than expected, checking several times to see if we needed anything. And the chocolate brownie/ice cream/caramel sauce dessert was decadently good. We were too early for the live music, and didn't wait around for it.

We enjoyed decent company and a good meal by the waterfront in Pictou here in the Nook and Cranny. Despite the name, the restaurant is spacious enough for about 10 tables on its main first floor. We happened to visit when they had a live band playing.

We tried the Cranberry Coconut Chicken, as well as their BBQ Bacon Burger and Mac & Cheese. The creativity was interesting on the moist flavorful chicken dish filled with feta cheese although I couldn’t taste coconut or cranberry. The other dishes tasted good.

Service was a bit slow on arrival but kind in helping us with several group photos for the fun outing. The central location is near a shipbuilding landmark & overlooks the paper mill across the waters.
