L'endroit est magnifique. La chambre que nous avions était très belle et très confortable. Le déjeuner était délicieux. Les hôtes étaient très sympathique. Je recommande vivement l'endroit pour dormir suite à un souper au Vignoble de Grand-Pré qui est situé juste à côté.

Le Paysage de Grand-Pré de l'UNESCO est également à 5 minutes de marche.

Situé dans un décor de rêve, ce B&B est véritablement un endroit où s'arrêter dans la région de Grand Pré. Près des lieux à visiter, il offre un confort sans égal, et la décoration est à la fois originale et authentique. Les hôtes sont charmants, attentionnés, et n'hésitent pas à donner des suggestions. Quant au petit-déjeuner, il est délicieux, sans être trop copieux. Un plus: il est possible de se rendre au vignoble voisin en traversant les vignes, soit pour déguster les vins locaux, soit pour un repas dans leur excellent restaurant.

My husband and I were accommodated to stay at this welcoming and cozy bed and breakfast, due to unforeseen complications caused by the weather, on Valentine's day. Wonderful hosts Adriana and Desmond saved the day!||The room they prepared for us was more than we could have hoped for. It was warm, romantic, spacious, comfortable, decorated in a way that felt like home. It was perfect for what we needed. They were so helpful and caring, and it felt like we were visiting friends. We had engaging conversations and shared good laughs; they are a very interesting couple with interesting stories to tell. Breakfast was scrumptious and we loved the country style kitchen. I took so many photos!! We definitely want to return in a different season where it will be warmer, and we can enjoy sitting outside and drink wine, while taking in the views of such a beautiful area. This place is a treasure, and the experience we felt was gratifying because we appreciate little things, and simplicity. I wish our stay would've been longer, and we look forward to returning. We absolutely recommend this place. We are so grateful for the turn of events because it was meant to be, and because of it, we discovered a new place to call home, away from home.||Thank you

A charming couple provided a wonderful personalized experience in their beautiful well kept inn. They have a few choices for breakfast and all of them are 5 star. We have done a getaway there 5 times, there is a nice restaurant next door or a 10 minute drive to the town of Wolfville offers numerous options.

We LOVED our stay at Adriana & Desmond’s wonderful B&B. The place is beautifully decorated, and so lovely and welcoming. A & D were there to welcome us, show us to our room, and provide us with all the information we needed for our stay. It’s the perfect location, just a couple of minutes drive from Wolfville and two minutes walk through the vineyards to some local wineries. A & D advised us to go to the winery just down the way to pick up a bottle and we could bring it back (they had wine glasses and ice buckets ready for us), which meant we could enjoy their wonderful terrace and watch the sunset. In the morning A & D served up the most amazing breakfast, which we enjoyed whilst chatting to them/getting to know them better, and did a little bird watching out the window. It was the perfect stay from start to finish. If you’re thinking of booking, just do it 🙂

What to say about this place? Well, this is our second time staying at Desmond and Adrianna’s B&B and it did not disappoint us again. My husband and I love the peace that they offer. We love the fact that we can sit outside in the evening to enjoy a glass of wine and look at the nice view of the vineyard while the sun sets. The room is super comfortable and extremely clean. They offer water in the room, but also ask everyday if there’s anything we need. Every morning they offer the most tasteful breakfast. If you love French toast well you’ve never had French toast like these ones. So delicious!!!! Now let’s talk about Desmond and Adrianna!!!! They great you at the door like if you are family. This couple is so interesting to talk too. There travels, work and experiences through out the years make for wonderful conversations. We are looking forward to our next stay!

This B and B experience is worth a look . Desmond and Arianna are lovely people and their level of care and attention to detail is above reproach. The property is well kept inside and out and is a comfortable and relaxing place to be . The breakfast was delicious and quite perfect. We were spoiled during our stay and are grateful. Our hosts have lived very exciting lives and their steady pride in all they do is obvious. They are very good people . You will not regret a stay at the old lantern.
