Mary welcomed us with open arms and a level of hospitality that I truly admired. We were cycling and she took care of my wife’s ailments, which allowed us to sail through the rest of our trip. I had the best omelette ever, the balance was truly perfect.

Mary is an amazing host.
Due to an incident, we were 20min late for the check in, she helped us with the late check-in with the warmest greetings.

Everywhere is beautifully and detailed decorated in the house and The room is clean and lovely.

Delicious breakfast with many options.

We enjoyed petting the cute “furiend” too, they are super friendly and gentle.

Also, thank you Mary for the “surprise” you prepared upon we arrival, we enjoyed it so much!!

We loved our stay at the Olde Anchor. Mary was a wonderful host! Our room ticked all the boxes: comfy bed, clean room and bath, lots of hot water, hooks to hang our stuff. We enjoyed the sunporch SO much. Breakfast was delicious, and the dogs were friendly. Thanks for giving us a great place to relax along our journey. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed with Mary before catching the Ferry to NS. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Mary and her fur babies (Jack is young but is quickly learning to be a good host). The room was comfortable but the bathroom a little bit small. The bedroom was very quiet and we slept great after a local brew and hot tub soak. Common areas downstairs are set up to encourage making new friends, and we all enjoyed Mary's excellent breakfast and company. She was very chipper for getting up early and getting us out the door to catch the ferry. We highly recommend this place. Loved it.

This place was an amazing respite after a long days ride. Mary and Tony were great with conversation and providing a comfortable private room with an excellent view of the wharf. he the trees hide the place from the road and fuel station across the road. If there in the summer stop and smell the roses, they were not new so they smell very good.

Their dogs were super friendly but did not jump or bark Mary only let them out cause we asked to see them.

The home cooked breakfast was very good but after seeing what someone else had wished I had went for french toast meal instead of traditional breakfast.

If I am in the area again definitely a repeat stay.

There's no other way to describe our stay than incredible! From the initial phone call with Mary, she was friendly, outgoing, informative! It's a great location and amenities are amazing! Rooms are fully equipped and luxurious, hot tub is perfection! Oh and breakfast, the breakfast was divine and she was able to accommodate my gluten intolerance. This was our first bed and breakfast experience and Mary knocked it out of the park. We will be back.

My husband and I had a most delightful stay in the harbour room at the Olde Anchor Bed and Breakfast from July 3-6, 2022. Our queen bed was most comfortable, and the inn is so quiet--great for good sleeping! Each morning, Mary had a delicious breakfast ready for us to enjoy before heading out for the day. I tried three different dishes, but my favorite was the breakfast banana split--absolutely delicious! During our three days in PEI, I came to love Mary's pets. A dog person myself, her dog and cats made the inn feel like home for me. Mary is the very best host--kind, gracious, and hospitable. Just in talking with Mary on the phone, she felt like a friend, and upon leaving, I truly felt like I was telling a friend goodbye. When my family returns to PEI, we will definitely hope to stay with Mary again. She is the best!
