Excellent emplacement dans un très beau secteur de la ville de St-John’s. Tout se fait à pied, les bons restos, Quidi Vidi, signal Hill, rando north Head trail à ne pas manquer. Nous avons adoré notre séjour de 4 nuits au Postmaster’s House. Nous avions La chambre King Georges avec un grand and lit baldaquin, chambre spacieuse, grande salle de bain avec douche. Ce B&B est en excellente condition avec beaucoup d’antiquités et d’excellents petits déj variés servis à la même table pour tous dans de beaux couverts en porcelaine, très chic!
Allez-y vous ne serez pas déçus. Eillen fut une hôte avenante en plus de nous concocter les excellents et copieux petits déjeuner.

Magnifique maison aux couleurs vibrantes qui caractérisent St-Johns. Située à proximité du centre-ville sans utilisation de la voiture.|Un décor recherché et chaleureux. Des propriétaires et un personnel attentif à vos demandes . Des excellents déjeuners pour bien débuter la journée et les petites collations pour satisfaire nos petites fringales de fin d’après-midi. La chaleur et le bien-être de cette maison commence dès la réservation.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour au Postmasters House à la fin juin 2023. C’était notre deuxième et tout était parfait encore une fois! L’emplacement est idéal, les chambres sont propres et spacieuses, le lit est ultra confortable, la maison est magnifique, les déjeuners sont délicieux, les proprios sont attentionnés et l’hôtesse, Eileen, est charmante. Nous avons séjourné dans ce bnb pour une nuit en septembre 2022. Mark est un hôte très accueillant, très sympathique et attentionné. La maison est très belle, située dans le quartier historique de St-John’s, à proximité de bons restaurants et de leur excellente boulangerie! Petit déjeuner copieux, de qualité. Nous vous le recommandons fortement!

What a gem to stay at when in St. John’s, a short walk to all the amazing downtown attractions. We had a rental car but definitely didn’t need it, Mark did provide us with a parking pass so we didn’t need to pay for parking.
The rooms were comfortable with air conditioning. We really liked having access to a small kitchen area. In this space there was a small fridge, coffee maker, ice machine, glasses and cups and of course the best part, baked items from the Postmaster Bakery.
Breakfast was lovely, each day you had a choice of a two breakfasts, one always being a traditional English breakfast. Eileen is a wonderful cook and everything was delicious. The day we flew out, we left really early and Eileen had a fruit cup and a breakfast wrap in the fridge for us to grab. A much appreciated service.
This is an heritage home that has been renovated and upgraded. The rooms are smaller as is the bathroom, however, we completely expected that. The size of our rooms did not have a negative effect on our stay.
Overall, we would recommend anyone traveling to St John’s to stay here.

If you are looking for the perfect b&b don't look any further than the Postmaster's House. It's old world charm along with excellent hosts, make this the ideal setting off spot for seeing the sites in and around St. Johns. The rooms were clean and fresh. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, a choice each morning was available, and meeting the other guests who shared their travel experiences of Newfoundland was a highlight to start the day. Arrival and departure instructions were simple, we arrived late at night and had no problem getting to our room. A lovely touch was the daily fresh scones and biscuits available throughout the day supplied from their Postmaster bakery. Also a must to visit. We stayed for three nights at the start of our trip and an extra two nights at the finish of our trip, and we will definitely be back when passing through St.John's.

A delightful B&B in the heart of St. John’s in a beautifully renovated historical building. ||Mark and Eldon were very helpful in sending information and tips in advance of our stay and we received a warm and friendly welcome on arrival. ||Our king-sized room was spacious with quality, tasteful furnishings, a large shower and plenty of towels and extra pillows, cushions etc. We also had our own private balcony which was a delight in the warm evenings, but there is also a communal balcony for all guests to use at the back of the guest kitchen area. ||The baked treats in the afternoon from the owners’ bakery were very tasty and the guest kitchen with a large supply of tea and good quality coffee, as well as ice, was a highly appreciated feature. ||Eileen cooked a delicious breakfast each morning - there is a choice each day between a full English breakfast or a changing daily special. We very much enjoyed sitting round the dining room table and chatting to the other guests. ||There is ample parking outside on the street, but we did everything in the city on foot and found it quite easy without a car. Just beware a few steep hills around St. John’s! ||We slept beautifully and found the room peaceful despite being so central. We would definitely return! We were happy to be here instead of one of the faceless corporate hotels in town!
