Le serveur semblait être nouveau et peu expérimenté. L’eau en bouteille non demandé et le pain (12$) facturé à la fin nous a vraiment choqués. Mon agneau était bon mais la pieuvres était sans goût. Très déçus.

We dined on Pasta & Wine night. It exceeded our expectations. Pasta is cooked on the spot, according to your liking. They also have a salad bar, dessert station with fondue, and charcuterie station. Lots of choices and wide variety. Wine can be ordered but with a fee, they have special range. Very enjoyable experience for us. Hope it gets extended till New Year. 😉

I posted about our 1st night's dinner under my other profile, the 2nd dinner needed a dedicated, separate review because it was PHENOMENAL! Dominque the resident Vegan server who had introduced herself to us the night before, seated us in her section this night 🙂 We were overjoyed! She is upbeat, warm, friendly, caring AND an excellent, intuitive server! I, based on last night's dinner, was eager to order something similar to my partner's meal; but Dominque explained that the chef had a cauliflower curry in mind for us, all made special and off menu to accomodate my Vegan, gluten, soy, nut, tomato, olive and corn free diet. I was set on my original request and the kitchen happily accommodated! My partner got the fully loaded lentil burger with pickles on the side, and mine a modified squash risotto with sauteed veggies. Our starters were the same as the first night as they were sooo good! As we were finishing up our mains, Dominique came out beaming holding two magnificent dinner plates - she said the chef really wanted us to try the curry!!! WOW! BLOWN AWAY! How thoughtful, next level kind of service this was! The curry was very asian fusion, light gravy, simple flavours, just delicious! Our dessert was the amazing chocolate mousse that is made daily, but off menu. Be sure to ask for it alongside the incredible coffee's and latte's! BRAVO PRIMROSE, BRAVO! You have made memories for us that will last our lifetime :)))

A beautiful restaurant located in Rim Rock hotel.
Food was delicious and fresh. Staff were amazing. We also had the breakfast buffet here too was great very wide selection

Our first evening in Banff celebrating our honeymoon - we opted for ‘Primrose’, a restaurant in our hotel.

While the service was friendly and welcoming, the food itself was disappointing; served luke warm, lacking flavour and the contents of my chicken burger was a questionable colouring .. The restaurant was nearly empty, and the harsh, flickering lights above our table made it feel far from the cosy, romantic setting we had hoped for.

Overall, it didn’t meet expectations, and we wouldn’t recommend it based on our experience.

Primrose breakfast = weird combination of Denny’s type microwaved bacon and lame potatoes with exquisitely poached eggs and delicious toast. Latte was great. Good service

We had such a wonderful time there. Thank you Jeremy for providing us with such an amazing dinning experience. All the other staff there were also very welcoming and accommodated my requests. Highly recommend the berry salad & braised lamb, very delicious. Well-cooked and presented on plate perfectly. I wish to be back someday.

We were seated at 6:15, our reservation time. We waited too long for drinks to arrive and had to ask when/ if our appetizers were coming. Focaccia that was more similar to cornbread and a pretty delicious gnocchi. Two of our party of four received their food a little after 7:30 (an hour and 15 min after being seated). Several minutes after that, we waved our server over to ask about the rest of the food. All of which was so so. It was good, however overpriced for what it was and the overall experience. Empty plates were not cleared until we asked for our bill, which then also took several minutes more. The focaccia and gnocchi were removed from our bill but it was a bday dinner and a bummer overall really. $35.00 for 7 sprites. Just go to Earls.
