I'm an out of towner from NJ, fishing on Eagle Lake. We had dinner here last night with a local friend of ours and the experience was quite good. We all had steaks, prime rib and NY Strip, and all were cooked to perfection. The appetizers of escargot and mushroom ragout were excellent. The French onion soup was very good as well. Service was spot on. I highly recommend for dinner, make reservations.

Very pleasant vintage place, here for three days while getting car repaired. Quiet, huge room, river view. Pretty good food, bar drinks okay, staff very pleasant & helpful but slow. No food service on Sundays. Breakfast is a repetitive bag: banana, juice, muffin, microwaveable breakfast sandwich. Outlets in room all needed replacement, plugs fell out of wall. Staff were really kind. Would stay there again. Reasonable prices.

The Lodge is one of the best places to eat in Dryden. The food there is very good and it’s not super expensive. They make their own salad dressing and the Blue Cheese dressing is killer! If you like Blue Cheese you will fall in love with this dressing as it has big chunks of cheese throughout it.
The service is awesome. The girls are cheerful and friendly. The rooms are very dated but if you’re thinking of it like going to an actual lodge like it was originally then it’s quite grand. Perhaps more is needed in show case the history of the building so people can appreciate it more?
The wings were cooked perfectly and my Greek salad was delicious. There are not many restaurants left open in Dryden and out of the few that are the Lodge is at the top. The view from the patio is beautiful and it’s fun to be there when volleyball is being played. If you haven’t checked it out already my friends, especially if you’re a Blue Cheese fan you should. My wife Trisha swears by their dressing and buys it from the Lodge for our salads at home. It’s expensive but worth it! Mmmmmmmm

We stayed here for 1 night on a cross canada road trip. Very unique building. Very rustic, beautiful building. Room was very spacious. Restaurant/bar was great - food and service was good - Only negative thing was there was a table with a group of younger people - probably 20s range. They were very loud, could not even hear ourselves talk. They were also having very inappropriate conversations, that none of the other patrons on the patio at the same time as us wanted to hear. What made it a little worse was the staff seemed to have known the group, as different servers kept coming and joining the group in between serving other guests. Staff probably should have asked them to keep it down a little out of respect for other guests. But other than that, I would definately come back.

Imagine drivin 3.5 hrs to eat @ the Lodge only to be told by the front desk help tonight I couldn't get a table cause I didn't make a reservation w/ a party of 6. I asked could I order restaurant food from the lounge she said no. Only place I've seen such rude accommodations. Spent 160 plus 20% tip could've doubled that their loss! Old owners would've accommodated could have at least allowed us to order restaurant food from the lounge to "accommodate" Fully booked restaurant yet it wasn't full and we've gotten in without reservations before hmmm

Was ok but definitely nothing special. The Caesar salad was good, but my main item a chicken sandwich had hard crispy edges, lile my wife had said as she looked at it, it was Over cooked and it didn't taste to great. Not sure if I'll go back. Waitress was attentive and friendly.

Went for dinner, wanted a table for 2 on the patio. Only 8 people sitting outside. We sat a table were the detergent and cloth was still on the table waiting to get cleaned out. The waitress came to tell us after 15 minutes she will come and clean our table We waited another15 minutes and decided to go inside since our table was still not cleaned, no menu, no nothing. Once inside, we were noticed and got the menus and etc...
