Very welcoming, accommodating and professional service and staff. A nurturing, healing, relaxing, comforting atmosphere. I would highly recommend The Salt Room Halifax to anyone who has ailments that could be ameliorated by these sessions, or even anyone who is looking for a zen, relaxing, spa-like way to disconnect from the world for a while; sit back in the comfortable chair, put your feet up, wrap their cozy blanket around you, get lost in the music they provide (individual headphones for a customized audio experience regardless of how many others are in the session alongside you), and just breathe in the relaxation and benefits. This is self-care at its finest.

At the beginning you feel a tickle in your throat but after that goes away, it's such an enjoyable, calming experience. I had the best sleep that night and my allergies didn't seem to be as bad after the experience.
I will say though, getting to the spa was very challenging. Google maps did not go to the right spot. Please be sure to go to Six Fifty North. It is the apartment complex, the salt room is in this apartment complex lobby.

Absolutely fabulous experience! My husband and I have very much enjoyed our visits. My husband has had a chronic sinus infection that has been clearing up, while I have respiratory problems and am feeling so much better. We recently brought our daughter who has had eczema since she was a child and it cleared up completely! Highly recommend The Salt Room!

My friend and I decided to add the Salt Room to the day of celebrating my birthday. We went for the relaxation aspect, and it was wonderful! The lights dim and you can put on headphones and pick any gendre of music. Linda was very nice and took time to chat with us and explain the benefits and services. We recommend The Salt
Room, and will be back.

I have been going to the Salt Room for the last five years. Linda, the owner is an absolute wonderful and very friendly and very accommodating person. She make sure that your experience is absolutely wonderful. Salt Room is a very relaxing Zen like calm serene atmosphere. I go because I suffer from asthma. I have had colds in the past and with the salt room. It has completely cleared up my cold. I also unfortunately caught Covid, but within two days of using the salt room, it completely cleared up from my lungs. I highly recommend for anybody with any form of lung issues. And an absolutely wonderful place for relaxing.

The room is relaxing, but no salt was blowing into the room. About 10 days ago, I was visiting Halifax from Vancouver, when i felt like i was coming down with something, my lungs were very heavy... I attended the salt room, but I didn't taste any salt, or feel anything during the session. When I asked the worker why that was, she said you need to pay more if you want more salt. A few days later, I went to salt therapy in Niagara Falls, and could taste and feel the salt in my lungs. I attend salt therapy regularly in Surrey, B.C - I always taste and feel the salt when I breath in the air and I leave the room with salt on my clothes. They use the exact same machine as the Salt Room. So not sure what's up... but I felt like I wasted my money that day!

Love it! It is very relaxing to sit back in a recliner with your feet up and relax in a room with salt all around you and soft lighting. I find it helps my C.O.P.D., I leave there breathing better. If I didn't I would go anyway...it's better than any relaxation exercises I've tried and I highly recomrnend it for the stress relief as well.
