We had our wedding ceremony and reception here! Overall experience was amazing! The owner was very accommodating and easy to talk to. Brad and Trevor were super nice and they made sure our ceremony and reception experience was exceptional. Food was great and everyone enjoyed it! Thank you for making our wedding day very memorable. ❤️

I was super excited to try this place! I love trust the chef experiences. However, this was overall disappointing.
The lamb croquette was difficult to cut as the breading was so thick and chewy. The lamb inside tasted okay and the sauce was tasty and well balanced though.
The pork with ancient grains was the most disappointing. Difficult to cut through. Extremely dry. We ended up sending one back. By the time we got it, we were all done ours but tasted the fresh one and realized HOW BAD they actually all were. We told our server who did not offer to compensate us in any way.
The chocolate cake was dry.
Would not recommend and will not be back. The place only had 4 other people in total in the restaurant so I’m not sure why our meals were cooked so poorly.

What an absolutely phenomenal experience! Our February wedding at this venue was nothing short of perfection. The staff went above and beyond, ensuring every detail was taken care of with kindness and accommodation. From the seamless setup of both ceremony and reception to the mouthwatering cuisine, every aspect exceeded our expectations. The ambiance, with the majestic mountain view framed by the illuminated windows, was simply breathtaking. We highly recommend this venue for both weddings and dining experiences. Our heartfelt thanks to the team for making our special day truly unforgettable!

Came in to try the chefs tasting menu, was absolutely blown away with the quality. Definitely come in hungry if you're going to try it. Started with the Spicy Margarita, then had wine pairing with each of the 3 courses. There was also 2 smaller courses in between the others. Our server Jordan was fantastic, I'd definitely recommend this location for a date night, or just trying a great custom menu!

Giving a five stars because I'll go back.
Ordered the beef, it arrived covered in sauce.
I'm not a big sauce fan, but the meat was good.
Somewhat a bit too rich for my taste.

Wife got pork and It was really nice.
I should have gotten that.
Either way, excellent service, beautiful views, ambiance and I'm sure next time when I order a pasta
or a different dish I'll like the place even more.

Renting the balcony would be sensational.

Celebrated my mother’s 80th birthday here. The space was fabulous. Great views of 3 sisters and Rundle. If the weather is nice you can also use the huge balcony. Nice that you have the entire space to yourselves. Bartender was attentive but not overbearing and offered a nice selection of cocktails and local beers. They also offer a corkage fee if you would like to bring your own wine. The menu is reserved in advance with a nice selection of protein. Food was very tasty and well presented Service was elegant. If you want to have a private event in Canmore I highly recommend Sensory.

The Sensory offers chef's choice of courses. It is an interesting idea that requires customers to "trust" the chef and hope for a good meal. We ordered the Carnivore 2 course meal for $59 which included a chef's choice appetizer and main course. The appetizer was a pork belly dish and the main course was a flank steak with seasoned vegetables. Overall we were happy with the portion size and with the flavour of both courses. Our waiter was excellent as well. He was friendly and drinks were served quickly. They also brought us a free aperitif since it was our anniversary. So, I would say the service was a 5/5. For the meals, however, my pork belly appetizer had a cold spot in the middle. It was not raw but cold at the center which suggests it may have been pre-cooked. If I pay $59 for a meal I would hope the food is made fresh, and fired, when ordered (you get that service for a lot less at other restaurants); not re-warmed or pre-cooked. Also, for that price it would have been nice if both "trust the chef" courses weren't the cheapest cuts of meat possible. The food still had great flavour but, for the price, better cuts of meat would have been nice. Overall we were happy but you will sacrifice traditional menu choices, and in our case higher quality cuts of meat and fresh-fired pork belly, at The Sensory.

Not very good food and very slow service. We did the chef’s tasting menu and honestly it was a disappointment. The courses are interesting in a not very tasty way. The lamb tasted fishy and not well seasoned. The duck was tough to chew and also not well seasoned. We complained about the duck and appreciated that they took it off the bill.

The three course meal took 2 hours with most of the time waiting for the next dish to come. We were not particularly in a rush but felt like it’d be a waste of time to wait for dessert to come.
