Went for takeout. Order dry ribs, and only came with five ribs for $18. We ordered 2 orders of these. French onion soup was not cooked, cheese still completely hard not melted. Poutine tasted like it was 3 days old. Will never eat here again, quite the joke. $60 dollars down the drain.

A cozy pub with tonnes of Golden Bear and Pandas memorabilia all around you - a true U of A stronghold! It wasn’t very busy around lunch hour surprisingly, making our service pretty prompt. Our server was happy to make any adjustments to our orders and was very friendly overall.
The taco salad that I ordered with beef unfortunately didn’t meet the expectations I had. The salad almost tasted sweet, which was not the taste I was looking for. The salsa that was used was what made it too sweet I think, however I did order guacamole to balance that flavor out. If you’re ordering the taco salad, be sure to ask for less salsa or get the guacamole on the side!

Would rate this zero stars if possible. 6 patrons all ordered beers on tap, no food. The service was atrocious as after 20 minutes the server was nowhere to be seen and the beers had yet to arrive. The bar was half empty and yet no beverages were delivered. One patron from our group approached the bar and asked where our drinks were as it had noticeably been a while, the bartender stated the bar was slammed and were too busy to make everyone drinks. Our patrol commented that it was only tap beers and that it shouldn’t be too difficult. The bartender took offence and kicked the entire 6 person party out. Will never go back again as the service was beyond terrible and rude. With a half empty bar one would anticipate the staff to be prompt and present. Extremely disappointed.

Stopped in after work-- turned out to be Quiz Night on a Thursday. Good crowd all round! Fullish house but got a table, attentive service and good suggestions from Chastity. Stayed late good taps, solid food.

Really great food! If you're looking for an all around good pub this would be perfect!! Loved Paige, such a great sever really funny, honestly made my night!

Waitresses are super friendly, made us feel really welcome. Food was on another level!
I decided to be adventurous and ordered the Butter Chicken Poutine, a decision I did NOT regret. It was fantastic, and I highly recommend it if you are a lover of butter chicken.
Others in my party were also super happy with their food. They ordered the Spinach & Artichoke dip, Butter Chicken w/ Basmati Rice, Green Onion Cakes, and a small Poutine. Service is fast and accurate, and we'll worth another visit. Thank you for an awesome experience!!!

Friendly staff. Happy hour and Thursday specials. Went in the afternoon. Hot day.

There was an exterior patio.

The inside was Sherlock Holmes themed. Otherwise not really a "themed" bar. Staff were wearing regular clothes. Nothing about the bar or menu beyond the decorations were following Sherlock Holmes theme or activity. Not a big deal for me but my friend thought it was going to be more of an 'event'

The atmosphere was workers day drinking blowing off steam. No one bothered us.

Good place to go to get a cold one with the boys.

The day I arrived with my friends we did experience slow service and it wasnt busy at all. Only 2 tables were taken in the whole joint. We were waiting a while for menus and water. I also had to walk to their kitchen to ask for menus for our table. Its not something i normally do but this was just my experience that day. Service slow...but the food was quite good.
