The Spice Root Indian Cuisine is Situated in a cute part of Ladner Village with inside seating, as well as public outdoors amenity areas in the summer. The service staff is very friendly, the food was prepared quickly, hot and fresh to order. Their Amritsary Kulcha plate was a healthy portion of food, but a little bland for my taste. I’m assuming they tone down the flavours to adhere to the local demographic. I had asked for spicy, but was not that spicy at all. Other than that, the place is a solid value for what you pay, and the service is awesome!

Absolutely insane value for the price. Easily the best Indian food in the area at 1/2 the price you expect. Can not recommend it enough!

More of a hole in the wall spot than somewhere to sit down and eat with family (we always do takeout) but that's not even a complaint just an observation. Food quality and value are 10/10.

Every dish is cooked with authentic Indian spices, and you can really taste the quality. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Absolutely delicious food. The order took time but I guess they were busy preparing the online orders. Overall we enjoyed dinning in there. The portions were generous and delicious. Will visit again.

The food was absolutely delicious, they have a lot of really good options. The staff were good but seemed preoccupied; they may have been understaffed that day or in general. However it didn’t get in the way of my experience, which was overall very positive due to the great food!

As an Indian person, I'm very particular about my Indian food and the Spice Root has impressed me every single time! Their food is flavourful, well-balanced, and delicious! They're also very accommodating with our requests to package our take out in our own containers. I haven't dined in-house but the staff are very sweet and courteous.

Best Indian restaurant in town. Everything tastes great. Packaged well. Amazing lunch special. So lucky to have this place in our village.
