Oh my goodness what an absolute delight to come here! My husband and I tried 3 different kinds of the home made chocolate treats. They were PERFECT. so incredibly yummy. I’m not usually a marshmallow fan but it was so good in the chocolate with the perfect amount of caramel. I forgot to take pics of what we got because we started eating them right away. Chocolate was perfect. Also the lady working. I am so bad with names. I want to say Carmen was so nice. Very friendly customer service, clean facility with lots of selection. Great stop on our date day. Wishing you a ton of success with your small business. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hi there everyone I am at the sugar shack, amazing amazing food and service because I have dietary issues. I'm not able to sample a lot of things, but I am having the cabbage soup and it is fantastic if you live in this area, Port Alberni I recommend that you come to the sugar shack.

They had 5 kinds of sugar free home made chocolates which is a great option for diabetics! I was told they offer sugar free ice cream in the summers too <3

Great little shop. Lots of choices for candy lovers, good choice of ice cream, even sugar free ice cream for diabetics.

The chocolate and other goodies are all hand crafted on the premises by owner Karmyn - who is the loveliest lady you’ll ever meet.

If you're looking for some tasty confection, you'll want to visit The Shak. Their goodies are always delish, and they consistently go above and beyond. I recently had them put together some items for the cast and crew of a theatrical production, and the break-a-leg bags they came up with far exceeded my expectations. Two tongues up!

My son and I stopped into the sugar shack yesterday. I asked the lady working whom was very unpleasant if I could try a certain type of ice cream, she then grabbed a spoon for me to sample the ice cream. As the lady was scooping the ice cream, my 9 year old asked if he could try the kind he was wanting. The lady working then explained to us that she didn't want to use up all her plastic spoons, and she would have to use the same spoon. After that comment was made we turned around and walked out of the store. As we were walking out the lady started to raise her voice while making unpleasant comments at us. I believe this may have been the owner working. Been there many times before with very kind staff. I will never return again. Super unpleasant experience from the moment we arrived at the Sugar Shack.

It was my Friend's Birthday and we stopped in and purchased some vegan chocolates. The dark choc mints and the scoobies were amazing and were a huge rave at the party. Also try the no sugar caramels and hedgehogs. The lady who served us was very nice and helpful. Will definitely be back, this store is amazing.
