I just spent 3 nights at this beautiful luxury hotel on the water with privacy and ocean views. Rooms are immaculate and super spacious with an eye for detail. This is a unique hotel. It's well worth a visit to relax at this hidden gem.

It was our first time here and it has been one of the best getaways we have ever done. Our room was amazing, our patio overlooking the beach was the perfect place to enjoy a delicious breakfast, and kayaking with the seals each evening was such a treat. Donna and Adrian were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. It was a great place to take a step back from our busy lives, be mesmorized by some amazing sunsets, enjoy the hot tub, steam cave and spa, and spend time on the calm waters around the islands and shoreline. Highly recommended!

We have stayed here a few times now and have throughly enjoyed our stays. It is such a beautiful and quiet location. The steam cave is amazing and kayaking to see the seals is a must. Donna and Adrian have thought of all the details and the gardens are lovely. Mornings on the balcony, overlooking the water and enjoying a fantastic breakfast is a perfect way to start the day. This is definitely one of our favourite getaways!🥰

We stayed at the Tuwanek Hotel for 3 nights for our babymoon and it was spectacular. We stayed in the Casablanca room and the view is absolutely spectacular. It was pure magic to wake up to a beautiful, private inlet, and have breakfast on the balcony overlooking the water every day. Adrian, the owner, was really friendly and showed up around the property with all of its amenities. There is so much to do without leaving the hotel, including lots of different water activities, or even just walking around the property. We opted for the breakfast add-on and it was really nice. Adrian is a really good chef and the food is delicious. Our only minor complaint was that the juice was not great, we barely finished our juice on each of the days. Upgrading the juice to something like Tropicana would really add a lot of value to the breakfast add-on. Otherwise we love it here and would come back for another romantic getaway.

We stayed for three nights in January and had a wonderful relaxing time. Beautiful location, wonderful views to wake up to. Adrian was very friendly and told us about some local places to explore, which we did. We loved the way they have set up the grounds with rock steps, wooden decking and lots of interesting touches, very unique! We highly recommend Tuwanek Hotel as a place to get away to and bring home great memories.

We will definitely return. Although we were only able to spend 1 night (a rainy Thanksgiving) here we felt like we had taken a mini vacation. We stayed in ‘The African Queen’ Room. It was exquisitely furnished with attention to every detail. It was thoughtfully stocked and Adrian was very attentive and helpful. It is a perfect location with waterfront access and well equipped beach activities. I would love to return to enjoy the spa services.

A wonderful, serene and relaxing place to stay. The hosts are kind and available if you need anything, but leave you alone to enjoy the peace and quiet. The breakfasts are as amazing as everybody says! Honestly, my breakfasts were better than any restaurant meals I ate in Sechelt. There are so many small touches here with decor and items you might need to enjoy the outdoors like water shoes, life jackets, etc. that I could not begin to mention them all. I had two wonderful spa treatments as well. The Sunset room is a pretty cool place to stay because you get exclusive use of the games room, which includes a mini kitchen with coffee/tea maker and microwave (popcorn!), and lots of other food/ kitchen implements. It also includes use of the super cool media room with recliners, cozy blankets, a giant TV and mood lighting. That was lots of fun!

The hospitality, amazing rooms and gorgeous location make this a must visit! Loved the beach, pizza oven, paddle boards, hot tub... So many extras!
Donna and Adrian go the extra mile for their guests.
