The lady at the front was super nice. The room was clean, but it looked like a collection of patchwork accumulated over the years. We have two very small kids and there were cables hanging off the walls and electrical wiring showing from one uncovered baseboard, which made it dangerous for them to sleep in the second bedroom alone without supervision.
I was expecting more for the price.

Conveniently located just off the highway and within walking distance to downtown. There is a decent pub next to the hotel. Nice touch having a bistro table and two chairs on the astroturf just outside the motel unit. Appreciated the storage shelves inside. The "deluxe" unit we were in seemed to be in transition. Some remodeling had been done, but the sink installed had no counter space and there was no hair dryer, and toiletries were just soap and shampoo. Staff did find us a hair dryer when asked. The lighting is incredibly dim. A "pool" is advertised but this is an above ground model with some debris floating in it, not very large, and located off by itself beyond the parking lot.

I wish we'd asked to see the room before booking it. (We probably wouldn't have.) We had Room 7. It looked like someone had shifted the heavy TV console towards the breakfast nook, so the nook was too crowded to sit at. The console blocked the mirror and was very off center to the bed. The floor above began creaking loudly when the construction worker upstairs got up at 5:30 am. The bath and surround were globbed with ugly grout and I think this grout was also slathered on the bath as slip protection. We wouldn't stay there again for 1/2 the price. Sorry Village Inn, but you know what I'm talking about.

We had a very nice time here. We stayed 2 nights. The beds were comfortable. They are going through some renovations so estheticly it wasn't perfect. The room was clean, ( my wife was an excellent house keeper at one time and she approved of the cleanliness). However we will definitely be staying here again. They have a pool table you can use and a dart board to pass some time.

The motel is tucked away from the road between two restaurants so we missed it at first. At first glance, we almost canceled and went elsewhere but we thought we'd give it a shot. The room was better than expected. It was clean, obviously updated recently, the bed was comfortable and the pillows fine. The parking was TIGHT so we parked in a vacant lot near the office. There seemed to be a few shady characters coming and going from one particular room but who am I to judge. It was good value for the price. The person checking me in wasn't very personable but was efficient. It was within walking distance of restaurants, a gas station and a liquor store. Would i stay here again? Probably not but if you want a comfortable room for the night, it works.

Super friendly and helpful host. Had a minor maintenance issue in our room, and he personally checked a replacement room for us before handing over the keys. Great deal, simple but super clean and a VERY comfortable bed.
