This place held so many events from hockey, broomball, curling, bingo, wedding dances and music festivals over 20 years of memories and events involving the whole James bay coast of communities. I remember attending hockey tournaments mostly and getting right into the sport whilst cheering for awesome plays and highlights(fan of the sport). Heading over to the curling club to slow things down from so much energy at the MTMGs they use to have. I believe they call it the James bay challenge cup but due to the covid era past 2 years have been cancelled which was for all our safety. Watching banuck become captain banuck in a comedy show they had for us during a business quest gathering. Great place awesome staff

This review was taken by myself on June 30th, 2018. I called the arena between the hours of 2 - 3 PM.

I live across from this arena and I noticed some vehicles outside and I wanted to know what was going on there. (by the way, Canada Day is today for Moose Factory, not tomorrow because it will be storming)

When I called, someone picked up, then I heard someone in the background ( it was muffled, so I couldn't make it out) then whoever picked up the phone, hung up.

It sounded like the person, pushed the button to hang up, not put down the receiver, so whoever it was, tried to hang up secretly for whatever reason.

To whomever was working there at that time, that was very unprofessional and immature for you to do, what you did.
