We had a lovely three days at The Tides Inn in Tofino. The room was beautiful, overlooking Duffin Cove, with steps leading down to a small secluded beach. The breakfast was a new experience, with a trolley of delicious eats including croissants and cereal in a wicker basket left outside our door. We could walk down to Tofino in minutes or drive to bays and beaches close by. We did a pretty walk in Ucluelet round a lighthouse that had the most amazing scenic views. Thank you again for a lovely stay.

My fiancée and I spent 3 lovely days in this beautiful Bed and Breakfast. The room was huge and could easily fit a family as it included 2 beds and a couch. The views with our own little deck were amazing (see photos) and I loved going to read on the private beach below. The food was delicious and Val accommodated my request for less meat very well, with yummy vegetarian rolls, croissants, and eggs. It was very convenient to be able to walk to central Tofino within minutes. The walkway could use some trimming of the foliage, particularly after it had rained, but other than that it was really great.

A friend recommended The Tides Inn and she was so right! Our first experience staying at a B&B, Val made us feel right at home immediately and offered terrific insight into the area, of which she is a lifelong resident. Our room was private, spacious and very clean. Our private deck overlooked Duffin Cove, especially beautiful at sunset. Val took great care to consider dietary restrictions yet provide a beautifully presented high-end delicious breakfast that was several notches above our expectations. Enjoyed meeting new friends over breakfast, but our favourite part of the meal was when Val joined us for a few minutes at the end to visit and share some interesting stories of her experience running a B&B. Would definitely return! Thanks Val for a wonderful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at The Tides Inn. When we arrived Val gave us tons of great information about the area. Our room (Loon Room) was large and comfortable with a gorgeous view. The breakfasts were SO YUMMY and fueled us for lots of hiking. The location of the Tides Inn is perfect. It is a little outside of town, but walking distance to everything. A short walk down the road takes you to a beautiful hiking trail to a very pretty beach. Thank you for the great stay Val! We loved it.

This B&B is just out of the town of Tofino, so it is quiet and peaceful. Our room, the Barnacle Suite was in the walk out basement. The room was huge, with a very comfortable bed, a large sitting area with a sofa and TV, and a large and modern bathroom. There is a second single bed as well.||Along the one outside wall were shin to ceiling windows looking out over the ocean and islands in the distance. A million dollar view!||Breakfast in the morning was at 830AM, home cooked in the main floor dining room. They can adjust to dietary restrictions if you give them notice beforehand. ||My wife raved about the little individual baked fruit pie thing she had! Also, eggs and turkey sausage, yogurt with fruit, orange juice and coffee, or tea.||From the location, the town is a 800m walk which would take about 10 minutes or so.||In the opposite direction is the road and trail to Tonquin Beach, about 500m and a 8 minute walk. It's a beautiful temparate rainforest trail down to the beach, with a few ramps and stairs. The beach is very scenic.||We only stayed one night here but this place, both Tofino and the Tides Inn, made a huge positive impression on us. We would like to return to stay longer.||One thing mentioned in other reviews too, was the stairs at the deck, which lead down to a small beach, were broken and couldn't be used. We just walked down to Tonquin Beach instead. I was thinking about offering to fix them, if they would put me up for a couple of weeks while I worked on it!! LOL

Our room was downstairs with its own entrance, but could also access the house for breakfast without going outside. The room was huge with a seating area . There was the most amazing views. The proprietor Val was so knowledgable about the area. We followed all her recommendations and had two fantastic meals in town which was only a short walk. Also followed her walk and visit tips which were amazing and saw our only bears of the trip! Breakfast on our first morning was probably the best I've had.

This small B&B sits on the edge of Tofino, overlooking a beautiful cove. A short walk to town, and to a beautiful local beach. Also has access right from the property down to a small beach, which is beautiful in itself. Room was just the right size and décor, for our taste. Simple, clean, quiet. Breakfast is brought to your room, and we sat at our small breakfast table looking out on the cover. Val is a wealth of good information and recommendations. Tofino itself is a gift in itself!

We stayed here at the Tides Inn late August/2016 stayed in the Chinook Room with the balcony great views and enjoyed sitting out in the deck at the edge. Sorry to see the stairs were closed off to the beach as they were broken. But we were in walking distance to another beach. Enjoyed Val's breakfast in the mornings, met other interesting guests from all over, we had some great talks and laughs. We want whale watching and walking around Tofino. Loved Long Beach and Chestermans Beach. Thank you Val for a great stay. Hope to be back.
