My family and I enjoy coming here every year aside from a few things. Outside needs some cleaning. Spider webs in every corner. Restaurant patio has the same. Our room last year was pretty dusty as well. Also, wish there was breakfast served somewhere in the resort and maybe room service too! apart from that beautiful resort, great staff - quick to resolve any issues 🙂

Thank you to the resort staff who were incredibly warm and helpful this weekend. With the ice storm, our vehicle was completely iced over but the maintenance crew came by and helped us clean our vehicle in the freezing cold. We managed to get on the road safely. THANK YOU for being so caring and helpful. We are so appreciative!!

Our 2 night stay was nothing short of fantastic from deluxe accommodations (3 bdrm. Executive suite), gourmet dining in the Touchstone Grill with exceptional food and wine menu and attentive service thanks to Michael, who made sure we were well taken care of, to Audrey, our personal concierge, who stayed in touch with us to make sure we had everything we needed, the outdoor winter fire pit, new fat tire bikes for guest use, outdoor hot tub, steam/sauna, and fully equipped gym, free use of snowshoes, two hockey nets set up in spare parking lot with sticks and balls! They also feature skating on Lake Muskoka although due to spring conditions, it was deemed unsafe. Would definitely recommend this beautiful resort/property and will surely return in the future when the two outdoor pools are open, outdoor dining overlooking lake and the famous “Bob’s Boathouse and Bar” are open seasonally! Luxury in true Muskoka style!

We loved the outdoor hot tub! It overlooks the lake. There's also a steam room and sauna indoors that are lovely. It was like a little spa getaway included with our stay. ||The room was pretty and cozy, it had a fireplace, a nice big bed, and heated floors in the bathroom. We were in the main lodge on the 2nd floor which was nice because we could easily walk down to the main lobby / restaurant area. They also had a nice wood fire going outside all day long. ||The *only* thing I'd caution if you're going in the winter is that you'll have to have breakfast in either Port Carling or Bracebridge! There's no breakfast at the resort in the winter. We ate at the Sherwood Inn in Port Carling which was ~ 15 min drive away.

The price you pay is definitely not worth the stay. The “resort” offers no breakfast at all, the front desk staff Emily was absolutely terrible, rude and seemed like she hated her job. Resort was completely empty and we were told they were super busy, lol. No one answers the phone when you call from your room. The picture of the smaller rooms are not the same that they give you. We ended up having to upgrade our room simply to get a desk and chair for business purposes. Beds and pillows are super uncomfortable! Lack of balcony privacy was an issue as well, and the shared entrance to your units is quite noisy when other leave/ enter their room. Again, for what they are calling it to be a “resort” should be better called motel. Definitely not worth the money you are spending in a room, especially since you are not even getting your rooms serviced/ cleaned even when the location is empty.

This resort is beautiful. The buildings are well kept, clean, and encapsulates cottage Muskoka vibes. Coming in the fall is amazing with all the leaves changing colours. This resort is also located near trails and other amenities, such as art galleries, museums, and historical buildings.

I would've appreciated knowing at time of booking that the restaurant and beach were unavailable because of a scheduled wedding. This is why I gave four stars on service.
