Good rec facility. Parking can be a serious issue. Free 2 hour parking is nice. However, it may also be the reason for no parking ever available. Kgtc is awesome. And the pool is fun. Gym is very well stocked. Would recommend going off hours. Place gets really busy. That's a good thing.

WORST GYM I HAVE EVER SEEN !If you are reading this review I just want you to know don't be fooled by high start review for this place and I will explain why! this so called sport facility have several fundamental flaws that will affect your consistency
1- parking is a nightmare , the person who designed this facility probably allocate 5% of the land for parking , I lost count how many days I have driven in circles and had to go back home because not finding a place to park !
2- check in is a joke ! you spend 15-20 minutes sometimes for them to scan your barcode (very ineffective )
3-they host countless sporting events , good luck finding parking or even a place to workout those days
4-the dressing room is embarrassingly small , cannot fit more than 5 people at the time you end up in very uncomfortable situations
5-they take forever to fix broken machines sometimes months
6-the pool is like a can of sardines

Went there for a convocation. Excellent fold-away seating (bleachers), surprisingly good acoustics, nice and bright. Easy access.

Top Notch Facilities and home of TRU Wolf Pack teams as well as Kamloops Broncos Jr. Football. A wide variety of fitness needs for all skill levels. Indoor track and hardwood courts & outdoor track and brand new turff field. Throwing centre and grass football/soccer fields.

This would have been a 5-star for me because I love the facility. It’s very well-maintained, friendly staff and has a lot of space.

But the hours of operation truly suck, especially the gym. It doesn’t open early enough especially on weekends at 7am and closes so early at 9:30pm during the week. However after having seen an old review stating they were opened longer pre-COVID and now I’m upset and blame COVID for taking away a great gym with longer hours that’s close to me.

I was given a parking ticket at the TCC at 9:00 pm. There was plenty of parking space at that time. Vehicles that were there before mine, in the same area had no tickets on their windshield. Why was I the only one with a ticket ? This is unfair and unnecessary. I pay my fees and then being punished for parking at the gym is ridiculous. Especially when it’s 9 o’clock at night. Shame on the tcc.
