Unfortunately we were only able to stay for one night but we made the most of it. The resort looks beautiful any time of year and the staff are always so helpful. Don’t even get me started on how good the food is. Unfortunately, due to power issues as a result of the ice storm we were unable to make use of the hot tub but the sauna was perfect as always. Considering there was no power to the resort on Sunday morning we were still presented with a delicious hot breakfast. Cannot recommend this resort enough.

My partner and I have now been to Trillium twice--once as guests at a wedding, a second time recently for the Valentine's day weekend. At the wedding we won a certificate for a free one-night stay at the resort, and were excited to return.

The room was cozy. Nice bed. The fireplace is also great to have, though we would have appreciated more small pieces of wood for kindling. There were some outside, but they were wet from the snow.

The food was solid. Dinner and breakfast were included in our certificate. The dinner did not blow me away, but we had a nice meal in a lovely setting. The breakfast was quite good, I thought.

The star of show was, however, the service. Mainly, we went up on the snowiest weekend in decades and got stuck a couple kilometers out. We would have had to call CAA if not for the reception coordinating with the maintenance guy to come out and give us a little tow so that we could get back on our way. The server at dinner was also a hoot.

We had our wedding at the trillium in October 2024. Our experience was truly perfect! Sara was incredibly helpful and communicative leading up to the wedding, and made sure everything was seamless for us on the day of.

You can customize your wedding as much as you like, while having peace of mind knowing the venue will cover all of the important things!

Our group was around 100 people and the main lodge felt like a great size for the reception. We were lucky enough to have our ceremony outdoors. The lake and surrounding forest were incredibly peaceful.

If you're looking for a woodsy wedding venue that's not too rustic but still has a lot of charm, the trillium is a fantastic option!

My wife and I spent a few days in a chalet at Trillium and really enjoyed the experience. It was between christmas and new years so it was a very quiet and relaxing time. Wonderful gas fireplace and view of the lake. Excellent breakfast in the lodge. Looking forward to going back.

Have been to Trillium many times in the winter and the summer. I proposed to my wife here! It's amazing whatever time of year. Our favourite chalet is Falling Water, with a large deck overlooking an incredible waterfall and a wood stove. It's also right beside the Spa. Food is incredible. The scenery is incredible. Highly recommend!

Beautiful spot! I am a makeup artist (Bright Inside Out) and a bride recently had her wedding here. There was a perfect room upstairs in the main building for hair, makeup and getting ready. The staff were so kind and helpful to me and the location is stunning! Can't wait for next time!

We recently had our wedding here and it was perfect. Everything went so smoothly.
We loved that it was a 2 night event, the accommodations were clean and nice, the food was amazing, the staff were very friendly.
Sara, the event coordinator was AMAZING. She had answered countless emails from us asking so many questions leading up to the wedding. She was very knowledgeable and friendly to work with. She helped out with decorations, timeline, set up, and so much more that helped relieve so much of our stress. She problem solved things last minute that we had forgotten or didn't have the time to do.
The service was great, even when they were left short staffed one night. They also accomodated my dietary restrictions well.
Everything was on time as scheduled. It was awesome that we were able to borrow so many decor items as well for the ceremony and reception.
The location is beautiful, lots of activities for guests (pool, beach, canoe, bikes, fishing, etc) and our guests took full advantage of this.
Anything we asked for, they accommodated. Our wedding was perfect and a HUGE part of that is because of the venue and staff. Highly recommend as a cute getaway mini destination wedding. We will definitely be back for some stays 🙂
