If I could give no stars I would. Can’t believe all the good reviews of this place. People must not know what good food is or even what half decent pub food is. Service was not too long. But since there were maybe 15 people total could have been faster.
Onion rings were darker than a dirty shoe lace and tasted equally as bad as one might taste. Obviously oil has not been changed in no idea how long.
Beef dip sandwich was greyish unappealing strange tasting. The sweet potatoe fries were soggy and cold.
Fish tacos were not hot and not fresh fish.
Being that this is a well travelled road for tourism and locals I would think the food would be at least fresh.
Also being in Alberta I would think they would use good beef and not whatever was served today.
Wish I took photos.

Dropped by last sunday just after 4:30 for dinner. The place was busy, but not lined up at the door. Found a table out back and we ordered within about 5 - 10 minutes. We got our drinks by about 5 and then everything went downhill.
An older male, presumed manager/owner, mentioned we needed tickets for a performance about to take place at 5:30. Not one sign posted at the door or anywhere else in plain view about this. We mentioned we ordered and should easily be gone by then. By 5:15 our meals still hadn't come, so to be nice, we found an available table not part of the event. Our waitress said she would transfer the order to that table.
We confirmed with the new waitress where we were and the order placed. She told us that she got the order.
At 6 we asked where our order was, was told the kitchen was behind. At 6:30 was told that there was only 2 kitchen staff and they were behind. Last straw was at 7pm, asked for the manager, told wasn't available and our waitress walked up and said she couldn't find our order.
Almost 2 1/2 hours for a FOOD ORDER!! INSANE!!!
The order was never checked, no apologies for the delay until we were walking out. Not even, sorry for the wait...here's some fries,
NOTHING! Staff acted like what happened didn't matter. They were busy enough not to care. She said "sorry about that" and walked away.
We will never return...ever...ever....ever. Not the first review about this I now see.

The rooms are period perfect, that's 1930 perfect. Washroom is down the hall. Great double in my room. You'll stay i. A historical treasure so don't come looking for a Holiday Inn Experience. Downstairs you'll find a fantastic bar. We had live music provided by a very very good band. Drinks are reasonable and thw wait staff is top notch.

unique decor, sign on entrance no dumb people very funny, inside sign $5 charge for whining, western style swinging door. parking is free but backing out is dangerous as you almost back up onto the road. had twin city burger and onion rings, very tasty. one star off for providing milk instead of cream with my coffee. very pretty waitress. a regular patron, big guy with cowboy hat and work boots swaying as he left which means he should have been cut off but wasn't. had to ask for ketchup and relish. no dessert menu. washroom basin is a barrel. there's a pool table looks like they have live music sometime. closed on Wednesday and Thursday

Yesterday August 17/25. Arrived around 4:20 pm, after a tour around the area. The bar was busy but not overly busy. I ordered food to go. I placed my order and then waited, the server came by around 4:50 pm and told me it would only be a few more minutes. Now its 5:10 pm and still no food. Finally another server asked about my order and then went into the kitchen to check. She returned to say that they had lost my order and that it would be another 25 minutes. I told her to forget it and left. I have eaten here before and like the food. But after this, I won't be returning.

Stopped in while in Longview. Had the blue cod fish and chips. $21.00. Disappointed with the size of the the fish and chips portions. Pretty small sizes. Expensive for what you got. Waitresses were good. liked the old truck and other old equipment outside

Just ate at the pub. Service was good. Unfortunately there was a large group there together and it was quite loud. It's a shame they don't have a seperate area for large groups, I felt like we were intruding and if I wasn't so hungry, I probably wouldn't have staied. The pulled pork sandwich was amazing, with the mac and cheese on it. It was the perfect ratio of each on the bun and it didn't leave you feeling overfull, good portion size. My partner had the burger, and it was ok. The fries were lovely!

Tough one to write as I love Longview and the area, but wow, it was not good today at Twin Cities Saloon.

My daughter and I popped out to the saloon for a late lunch on Sunday. The waitress warned us it would be slow as it was busy, which we were fine with, but we expected that to mean it would be 30-ish minute wait for food...it ended being an hour and a half.

We were a little pressed for time at the end so asked for our meal to be packed up. We were there for almost 2 hours total.

My daughters chicken fingers looked and tasted like they'd been in the deep fryer for the entire 2 hours as they were extremely well done. My BLT was a typical BLT.

Sorry to say we won't be back anytime soon.

On a side note our server was lovely and the ambience in the saloon was good.
