We’ve been dining here since Twisted Lemon first opened 16 years ago, and it continues to be an exceptional experience every time.

Chef Dan and his team bring an incredible level of passion and creativity to everything they do—and it truly shines through in the food and their signature Clarity Cocktails (try out the tester flight! It’s awesome).

The menu offers something for everyone, including vegan and gluten-free options. As a vegetarian, I often go for the gnocchi, which never disappoints—but honestly, everything I’ve tried has been outstanding. Chef Dan is frequently out on the floor, chatting with guests and sharing the stories behind his dishes, which adds a personal and welcoming touch.

If you’re visiting from out of town, you’re in luck—they’ve recently expanded and are now operating as an inn as well. It’s the perfect spot for a memorable meal and a cozy stay.

During our most recent visit (July 2025), I tried a new dessert on the menu - the Pink Lemonade cake. It’s absolutely delicious and tastes as good as it looks. I was so excited to have Dan tell us that I was the first to try it. 🙂

So glad we found this place. The room was amazing the food was unbelievable and the staff were amazing. It really is a home away from home. Pet friendly too!! Laurie and Dan are truly destined to make your experience worth while and do they ever deliver. Would highly recommend The Twisted Lemon to anyone. Great location 5 min walk to the Grand River and Downtown. Will be back again

Always looking for fun adventurous things to do in the summer, I came across their website. I told my wife to pack a bag for an overnight stay, her only requirement was A/C and a clean room. I booked a Dine and Stay package and we arrived a few Fridays ago at 5:30 pm to find about 15 cars in the small parking lot. We entered to get our room key and were surprised to see a full room of diners. The room was beautifully appointed cool and clean. We dropped our bags and walked around town, then went for dinner at 7:30 pm. Again a full house and had a superb unhurried dinner. The food service and my wife’s drinks were top notch. Everything was adorned with fruit or vegetables from their garden next store. Dan and Laurie told us dishes change as the seasons do.
Highly recommend Twisted Lemon for either a getaway or just dinner.

Fantastic meal at Twisted Lemon, wonderful atmosphere, amazing people who make you feel welcomed, and the food! Fresh local ingredients prepared with love by amazing chefs! We opted for the monthly blind menu, which was a lot of fun, and incredibly delicious, the drink pairings were also on point! Chef Dan was a great host, with the explanation of the dishes as they arrived at our table. You can feel the passion for creating incredible food when he talks about it.
I travel a lot around the world, and this rivals anything that I have tried before, definitely the best in North America for me.

Thanks again for the great experience, we will definitely be back!

The Twisted Lemon is truly a hidden gem. The food is creative, colorful, and beautifully presented with edible flowers on many plates. Every dish was top quality, matched by phenomenal service. The chef’s passion and knowledge shine through the menu. Drinks were excellent too. Prices match the experience — worth every penny. Can’t wait to return for another memorable meal!

Just got home and I’m already looking forward to my next visit! We stayed in the Norton Room at the Boutique Inn, part of Twisted Lemon, and it was such a memorable experience. The room was beautifully designed with thoughtful touches throughout — from the cozy decor to little extras like morning coffee and a welcome bag filled with essentials you might have forgotten (toothbrush, razor, comb, and more). It’s clear that so much care and love went into creating this charming space.

The real highlight, though, was dinner at Twisted Lemon. This was my first time dining there, and from the moment we were greeted at the door, the entire evening was flawless. The service was warm and attentive, the atmosphere was inviting, and the food… truly next level. Every dish was packed with incredible flavour and presented beautifully — the best dining experience I’ve had, hands down. And the clarity cocktails? Pure genius.

You can feel the passion behind every detail — from the inn to the dining room. If you’re considering a visit, I can’t recommend it enough. Make a night of it — you won’t be disappointed!

We had the best meal ever for my birthday. The service by Marcus was outstanding. The food was worth the drive (we live out of town).
Everything we tried was excellent, we didn’t feel rushed, and the vibe was top notch.
The twisted lemon is 10/10 with the the drive, and the price of meals.
The portion size for an establishment like is perfect, you leave feeling full and not wanting more.

We had the pleasure of visiting Twisted Lemon a few months back and had a glorious dinner…superb, innovative dishes and exemplary service. Upon returning home (about an hour away), we were discussing our experience with friends and mentioned they also offered rooms. Well that was all it took, and a few hours later we had two rooms booked and a 7pm dinner reservation. We definitely made the most of it, spending the first part of the day exploring the many fine wineries and breweries along the Erie shore (about a half hour away). Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were shown to our rooms (there are only 3!) by owner/chef Dan Megna. The rooms were not overly large, but beautifully appointed, with all the necessities and a spacious bathroom. After getting settled, we made our way downstairs for dinner. All of the apps, beer, wine and especially the food was just as good as we remembered. A $100 gift card included in our reservation seemed almost too good to be true. The service was attentive and friendly; our server Marcus went above and beyond to make sure this was a memorable experience. We once again ordered a great super Tuscan red which has since become a staple in our household. We could not have asked for a better overall experience and can’t wait to return! 11/10 on all fronts.
