A couple of us had a great lunch here during the week. Cosy clean restaurant with terrific service and fantastic home cooked style Ukrainian food. The Full Meat dish has outstanding value where you pick your meat and get 4 cabbage rolls, 4 pierogis and 4 nylisnaki rolls for only $20.

I recommend everything from their menu except the ribs! All the food was delicious, including the flavour of the ribs but they were over done. Very hard and chewy. Other than that the food was all incredible. The service was great and the restaurant had an old school vibe to it. They also have a little grocery store inside where you can buy all the Ukrainian food frozen and cook it at home. They also sell Mundare sausages for almost half the price in grocery stores. Definitely recommend hitting this place up for a Ukrainian fix!

It was very good for food, I wish I could say the same about the staff, and their attitude. I think they really needed a bit more customer service training. We put our name on a reservation listing only for them to remove it off of it. If a restaurant takes a name for a reservation, I hope that they aren’t so mean about how you’re not allowed to do that. They made us wait another 20 minutes, despite us having an event which we were late too. It was the female staff who were the rudest to us. They wouldn’t seat us right away, there were a lot of empty tables but didn’t want to seat anybody. They also weren’t the friendliest which set the atmosphere and my experience way down, I never had an issue until they changed the way of taking reservations/wait lists. I hope they use this review to focus on what’s needing to be fixed. Because I want to support the business but some of the staff ruined my own personal experience this week. They took their own mistakes up on the newer staff.

I went with 7 others for lunch. I had the cabbage soup and Caesar salad. The soup was absolutely terrific. Salad was ok but from the picture, the presentation was very nice. Two others had a combo plate like the one shown. They were very happy and it certainly looked great to me. The wait staff were very attentive. They brought out more sour cream before anyone had a chance to ask for more. In general all 8 of us were quite satisfied.

My dining experience at Uncle Ed’s today was absolutely delicious! We were greeted with a smile and our food arrived at our table, steaming hot and very authentic. Best Ukrainian food in town. You gotta eat here!!!

We went here last week for our Uke Food Fix and we were not disappointed! Good, Old fashioned Perogys, Cheese Rools, Kubasa, Cabbage Rolls were what we ordered and ate every bit of it all, too! Highly recommend this Ukrainiun Restaurant as well as their Deli with the excellent Kubasa, and pepperoni! You can also buy frozen Cabbage Rols, Borsht, Perogies as well. Great spot!!
