Enjoyed our experience and the food. My husband and I came here for the first time and ordered the paneer kulcha and pav bhaji. Really love the pav bhaji, it tasted different than normal ones. My husband liked his kulcha as well, which of course we would recommend since that is their specialty.
Parking at this location was packed , so it was difficult to find any parking. First parked on the street and then eventually moved to a parking space when it opened up.

I’ve always been a fan of Ustaad G’s signature flavors, but my recent delivery left me disappointed. The food was noticeably flavorless and didn’t reflect the quality I’ve come to expect. It felt like it might have come from a different branch entirely. I hope this was just an off day and that Ustaad G can ensure consistency across all locations in the future.

Ustaad G, name speaks for itself. Perfect food, perfect quality and perfect ambience. Owner, Bakshish Singh is a humble man and his hospitality towards all customers is worth appreciating.
We heard alot about its Amritsari Kulcha and Keema Naan in Calgary and we came specially here to try that. Its the best in whole BC. To all people out there, you should all must visit to relish their amazing food!! 💯

The food was absolutely amazing and incredibly delicious, all at very reasonable prices. We especially enjoyed the butter chicken curry, which was mouthwatering. We mainly tried their Thali, a fantastic combo that included naan, butter chicken, dal makhani, raita, and a sweet treat – everything was delicious and perfectly balanced. I also tried their Chef Special Booter Halwa, which was beyond exceptional—no one can beat it! The chole bhature was also excellent, with large portions and great flavor. Highly recommended!

The staff is so sweet and friendly. The restaurant and the food are okay.
We had Amritsari Mix Kulcha, Pav Bhaji, and Achari Chaap. The quantity was good, but the taste wasn't that great.
The soy chaap in the Achari Chaap didn't seem fresh. The chole masala served with kulcha lacked flavors. The Pav Bhaji and Kulcha were hot and fresh, though.

I had a pretty bad experience at Ustaad G. First off, they messed up my order completely. What’s worse, instead of just fixing it, they tried to blame me for the mistake! Seriously unprofessional.I made a combo but they just gave me one appetizer, its not about the price but because of it my whole mood was ruined.To top it off, the food wasn't even that good. It was just so-so, nothing special at all. If the service had been better, maybe I could have overlooked the mediocre food, but the whole experience was just a letdown.Ustaad G needs to train their staff to confirm orders properly and take responsibility for their mistakes. And maybe work on improving the food quality while they're at it. Definitely won’t be going back anytime soon.

We want to try something flavorful and Indian food never fails us. Also my first ever Amritsari Kulcha eaten and they are very yummy and delicious. The bread are freshly baked, hot and steamy. And it's also not too spicy as I thought- just perfect (I was afraid of the spicy level when we forgot to mention it to the staff)
The wait is a bit long because they have a lot of online order. But to compensate, the staff gave us 2 sweet thing as a complimentary.
Still we had a full and good time there

The atmosphere was not so bad a little to much with all the tv, the food was good, our lamb was a little over cooked. There are several GF options The servers were very attentive and friendly.
