I have always had amazing experiences getting my nails done at V Nails in Lacombe. I don’t get to go often so it’s great to have this friendly local shop which is also very reasonable in price.
Eric did my nails yesterday and I love them. I asked for coffin shaped acrylics and he did a wonderful job, they turned out beautifully. The staff were very professional and kind ,I would highly recommend this salon and Eric in particular.
Anna gave me the most wonderful VIP Japanese head massage. I have had Japanese head spa experience in Japan before but was unsure of what to expect here in Canada. I was having a hard day and Anna was so incredibly kind and compassionate to me. The massage itself is 90 minutes and was far more effective and relaxing than any I’ve ever had. It included head, shoulders, neck, arms, hands, face as well as hair treatment and wash. The room was quiet and dim with the sound of running water in the background. The bed you lay on is quite comfortable and you are tucked in with a cozy blanket, while your feet and lower legs rest in a hot pool of water with orange pieces. The massage and exfoliation includes the feet and lower legs. I found the whole experience to be so lovely. The oils Anna used were also really nice. The Light citrus and mint were great, not overpowering but still refreshing and relaxing . I would recommend asking for Anna when you book if you want the best experience. She is truly kind and extremely professional and good at massage. The Christmas 50% off sale is an excellent deal in my opinion. Especially since you can purchase gift cards for the Japanese head spa which do not expire. 74$ is very cheap for 90 minutes of heaven 💕💕💕

I came here a around April and i was so disappointed with the outcome of my nails and I thought I would give it another chance so I told my sister to give it a try to see if anything changed but nothing changed at all. Her nails were shaped crooked and uneven. We also booked two Japanese head spas as well and it wasn’t too bad but did not hold up to our expectations. They also didn’t dry our hair right and I wouldn’t have cared that much if it was summer but it’s winter. My sister also got her eyebrows waxed and the lady doing her eyebrows was not experienced at all!!! She splashed wax all over her face, sweater and also got her phone, I don’t know how that is possible but it was not an enjoyable experience! As a girls girl don’t go here!!!

Experienced my first VIP Head Spa today. And by experience, I mean it was quite the adventure!! Get ready for the ultimate relaxation experience including lower leg hot stone massage, shoulder & neck massage, multiple head treatments including cold rollers on your face, and sheet mask as well. The water "halo" as I call it, was welcoming and did not water board me as I thought it would lol. Very professional. Very quiet. And after all that bliss, there was a person ready to blow dry my hair. Highly recommend this city level service in Lacombe.

Recommendations for those who are eager to go: 1. Shave your legs if YOU care because they certainly do not lol. 2. Bring your own hair product to fix your hair after if you plan on going out into public, or throw on a toque. 3. * Note to the Ladies* Wear loose pants so you can push your pants up to your knees for the leg massage. Shirt off, bra straps tucked in, wrap that towel tight. They will cover you with a warm blanket as well, so you are fully covered. Enjoy 😊

Went for gel nails. The techs are friendly and the nails are great but the tech I had seemed a little careless when working with cuticles and the service was a little more pricey than the $65 they lead you to think (edit: one of my nails broke off 4 days after my appointment because it was not secured well. Kind of sad now because I definitely did not get my money's worth out of these nails.)

Booked the head spa the other day. My husband and I really enjoyed it. Definitely would go back for another. The service i had by (sorry cant remember his name) he did so good. Would always ask/tell me to let him know if the water was too hot or not, if the pressure of the massage was good or if it was hurting. Only issue I
really found was I didn't like how it wasn't more private.. it was nice as most of our service was just us 2 in the room but just felt a little exposed when strangers came in near the ending and we had to get off the table.

My girlfriends and I went to a free deluxe spa treatment yesterday. Overall, I can see the experience could be good if the people doing it had a little more experience. The gentleman I have was really good at Massage. But really rough on my face. I felt like he needed to slow down, seeing as it was supposed to be therapeutic. My water was at some points really chilly, which isn’t comforting. The smells in aroma they use for product were really nice. Although seeing as it was very vigourous strokes seemed to have irritated my face. overall, I think once they get the treatment Perfected It will be nice. I’m only giving it a three cause I could tell he was OK with me telling him to be more gentle or massage harder. But they do need a little more experience. Also, they do have a promotion till the end of the month. Go check them out
