I always have a great experience at Waternails. A few weeks ago, I got a set of bio gel tips done for my vacation, and they turned out so beautiful that I came back for a fill. Both times, Vicky did an amazing job. I've also had pedicures here, and they are so relaxing. The staff is very friendly, and the salon is clean and comfortable. I highly recommend them 100%!

I went for a shellac manicure at this salon. This was my first experience at this salon and will be my last. Although the manicure itself looks okay there was a bare minimum effort put into this manicure. I felt like they were just trying to push through as many people as possible. The entire manicure took 25 minutes. While the technician was doing my nails she had two phones sitting next to her and 5 times in my 25 minutes she stopped to answer one phone and schedule appointments on another. She left me sitting to go cash someone out and she left me to go set up two ladies for pedicures. There was a very bare minimum effort put into my manicure or to make me feel important as a customer. I would also like to note that the technicians speaking over customers in their non-Canadian language is very disrespectful. Our official languages are English and French and in public places shch as a salon this should be respected.

I was well taken care of here by the owner and Jennifer. I had such a good foot rub. I got shellac pedicure and regular manicure. Not downside a little pricey.

I arrived early and was seen early. They're fast and efficient without slicing and dicing.
Impressed with how easy it was to make an appointment. Nice massage included. Great service. Not perfect but not bad. Price was more than expected.

I just got a pedicure and gel fill and colour change today and they did such an amazing job! Warm, welcoming, great atmosphere, quality work and great prices! I will definitely be revisiting and am so happy that I found this salon!

I took my mom for a shellac manicure and we had the absolute worst experience. Firstly, I asked for a slightly shorter almond nail and the lady cut my nails down to the bed and said now she can’t do that shape sorry. There was polish all over my skin and cuticles, as well as I was cut and bleeding in three places. My moms nails were all different shapes and had major bubbling. We both asked for fixes and were met with blaming our nails and the polish and arguments. The only positive was 2 different ladies came out and fixed them but still the nails appear like we could have done them ourselves. We both left uncomfortable, disappointed and just shocked. I would never go back and would caution others.

Also, to the review response- I came into the salon with long overgrown shellac nails so nothing about my nails would have made them too short. They just over cut them without thinking.

Not sure if it was an off day or what as other reviews look good but I really didn’t enjoy my shellac pedicure. Booked an appointment but was delayed. I was given minimal color choices which was surprising (like under 20 colors) - I did ask if there any other choices and was told no. I saw another customer getting a pedicure and looking for a color, oodles of choices! I did ask to look at those colors and it felt odd as they were reluctant (to confirm I did make sure they were gel polish). My water got so cold during the process and whilst working on cutting my toe nail I had to stop my technician as it was painful. I appreciate the effort and my technician was kind but overall I didn’t have an enjoyable service.
