Got my nails done today with my daughter. Wasn't the greatest experience.
While working on my nails the tech was preoccupied with her cell phone sim card not working so she was continuously texting and talking on the phone. When the nails were cut I noticed my right hand nails were shorter than I liked, the left hand was short but okay. This was not fixed as she kept telling me she asked before cutting. She did ask before cutting one finger on the left hand, however it was longer until filed. I believe she was distracted with her sim card issue.

The nails themselves, most are nice and smooth but three have a bump near the tip.
The color is perfect and beautiful, I love the design but spots on the edge on some nails are missed giving a rough look.

On a positive note I requested my nail to be thin, natural looking and she delivered 🙂 Very happy about that.

Overall the ladies were nice and my nails will grow

Yes my daughter and I left you a 2 and three stars, however I may change that due to professionalism regarding the message you left on my phone and daughters review. You said you were going to report our review, please do as I was only being truthful.
There was both good and bad points based on the service we received, which I stated. Because of this we both felt the previous 5 star rating was false as we explained.
There was no bullying. I was shocked when I saw you wrote this. As we were having conversations. Im one that avoids conflict. The only time I questioned you was about the length of my nails. This was when you got defensive and blamed it on me.
I didn't even say anything when you were constantly texting and talking on the phone while doing my nails.
Another thing you stated is that we didn't want to pay the bill. This again was false. As soon as you told me the price I paid and left you a tip. As the service wasn't all bad. It was also the same amount stated on your website. My daughter, did question the price because your website showed $105 for the services (as shown in the screenshot) you wanted to charge her $120. After showing you the price on your site you agreed to honor it. There was not a problem and she left you a tip.
You also stated that we rushed you because of the baby. This again was false. When I was getting my nails done my daughter had the baby and when she was getting hers done I had him. When he got a little fussy I took him for a walk outside. There was no rush.
So overall I feel the reason for the three-star rating I gave you was accurate. 1- Texting and personal calls should not be done while there is a customer. 2 - with my concerns of the nails being short you did not once try to resolve this issue only defended it. 3 - the application of the nail (bumpy on three nails) and polish. Was my reasoning for the rating.
However, after your negative response via phone message and to my daughter's feedback, this rating will be dropping due to professionalism

Great gem in downtown fort saskatchewan! Went to this nail salon for my baby shower nails, and the owner did an amazing job of making them beautiful and exactly what I was looking for! She was super accommodating and booking an appointment was easy and simple too! Loved the place and great nails! Will be back for any nail needs 🙂

How were we bullying you? We didn’t say anything to you, when my mom came in she asked if this was a smoking facility as it smelt like smoke? My baby was in my lap for my pedicure and wasn’t saying anything - Tetinana actually wanted to hold him which I allowed it. When I was getting my manicure my moms services was done , and she took my baby where then I had your full attention.

As for the payment - your online platform said a specific price - as that’s how I booked, I told you that and you honoured that price, where was I bullying you, you guys had false advertisement.

Not impressed with your professionalism. My tip was specifically for Tetiana for her service as I was impressed with her.

I’m assuming you’re the other person, and I am very disappointed with you.

My Mom and I went to to try out this salon based on the reviews. They were a 5 star and everyone had amazing things to say about.
Unfortunately, that was not the experience we had.
I booked an appointment with Tetiana for acrylic and pedicure - she did my pedicure , but when she was done she sent me to the lady who just finished my mom as she had another appointment and wouldn’t have time do to mine. This was super disappointing as all the reviews mentioned how happy they were with tetiana…
I loved my pedicure and the experience. She was professional, and engaging.
Unfortunately, the other lady (didn’t get her name) was not the same. When she was doing my moms, she was texting and on her phone (not business phone) she complained about my moms nails and did not cut both hands evenly but then blamed her nails.
When she was doing mine she just kept talking about my moms nails and making excuses for her work.
I’m not sure how this place received a 5 star rating . Maybe it was specifically for Tetiana as her work I was quite happy with which is the reason for the two stars.

I wanted a new set of acrylic nails and decided on Welcome Nails due to their great reviews. Ruby was fantastic!! Super sweet and friendly. This is the happiest I’ve ever been with my nails. I’ve always done a rounded square shape but this time decided to go with an almond shape. I absolutely love them. They are perfection! Everywhere else I’ve gone has taken a minimum of 1.5 hours for a new set and Ruby was done in under an hour. Highly recommend Welcome Nails!

Ruby is the greatest! Super warm and friendly, and does a really wonderful job! The salon itself is really cute too. This is the place to go in Fort Saskatchewan for your nails!
