Le plus cheap lobster roll que j’ai mangé. Aucune garniture (pas de laitue, ni tomates ni oignons verts). Le pain n’était pas grillé. Une arnaque pour le prix. Tourist trap. Très décevant. Aucun accompagnement servi avec la guédille. J’ai commandé une frite en accompagnement et elles étaient graisseuses et peu croustillantes. Pas de vraie mayo, juste de la sauce à salsa sucrée. Très décevant.

Le lobster sandwich est le pire pour 23$ deux tranches de pain avec du Mayo et même pas 40g de homard et le service était nul la dame n’avait même pas envi de travailler. A ne pas faire au fishermen’s cove.

Always top notch service . Went in for dinner this evening. Hubby ordered his clubhouse and I had the 1 pc fish and chips and we shared an order of deep fried pickles . I’m a real stickler for my fish being properly cooked and this also means the batter too . Some places we have been to don’t cook it long enough causing the batter to be raw and gooey on the inside but not these guys , cooked to perfection everytime . The pickles omg are amazing . And the homemade flakie that I ordered I had to bring home to snack on later because the portion sizes were just perfect that there was no room for dessert . These homemade flakies though omg you need to try them . They are so much better than any of those lunch snacks we used to get as kids .

Last week I was in Halifax Nova Scotia for a week’s holiday! It was amazing first day we went a cross the ferry to Dartmouth at the ferry terminal we were given a tip from a local artisan that the best fish dinner was at Fishermen Cove “ what’s the scoop”. Off we went relying on local bus system and very kind locals who assisted our adventure! This tip did not disappoint we chatted with Matty ! what a delightful young lady she helped us order we shared a lobster sandwich and a fisherman platter which we sampled all the seafoods!! We both took pictures how fluffy and fresh the food was! Mmmm good! We also had ice cream which was another tip given called “mountain mist “ delicious!!

Lobster rolls were tiny. The meat has no tail. Knuckles at beat. Canned?

Burger was very good.

Fries were excellent.

Tried the peanut butter cheesecake brownie...OMG, WOW! So good! Highly recommend trying it. The seafood platter was amazing. The battered fish was delicious and the fries were hand cut. Shrimp and scallops were yummy as well. Enjoyed the outdoor patio.

Tonight was our first visit for takeout food from What’s the Scoop. It’s a busy place, with the takeout menu, the ice cream bar, the desserts, the snacks, the beverages, the treats, the hard to find candies and preserves. I got the Scoop Burger Platter and she got the haddock tips & fries. Both meals were very hearty portions. Check their hours and go visit these folks. 👍🏼 Parking availability can vary.
