The resort owners are most gracious and charming, we really enjoyed their company. Our cabin was beautiful and accommodating, we slept better than we do at home. The bear hunt was top notch and a memory that will last a lifetime.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful week-long stay here. The location is peaceful and quiet, yet only a minute off highway 11 and 20 minutes from Geraldton. Our cabin (number 10) was great, the screened in porch was nice, and we had a view of the lake. The boats they rent are fine, I used a 9.9hp which is perfect as you don't need to go far to find fish. The walleye fishing was surprisingly good. They have a well maintained beach and kid's playground which was perfect for swimming. They also have a small store on site as well. The owners are great people who went above and beyond in terms of being friendly and helpful to us. I have stayed at many fishing/hunting lodges across Northern Ontario and can say that even in 2022, this place is priced very reasonably and offers great value. I highly recommend staying here whether its for fishing, hunting. or a family vacation.

The Dutch couple running this place are very informative on directions and very friendly. Reasonable rates for full service hookups and they can accommodate most every size rig beautiful park and right on the lake for fishing. Good level sites with 50 amp service. Road into this place is good and well off the road so very quiet. Worth the stay.

The owners are exceptionally lovely, friendly people. They go over and above to make you feel welcome and ensure you have anything you need.
The cabin we had was clean and well stocked. The beach is clean and the lake is beautiful. I would recommend this resort to any true fan of the outdoors.

We had a family reunion and it was wonderful. The owners made sure our cabin was big enough for all of us. We went fishing, had a fire in the evenings, bbq most nights. Sat around the large table to talk, laugh, play games and just reconnect! Any questions we had were answered quickly and directions were given for the closest town when we found we forgot a few things that could not be found in the store on site. Thank you, Bobby Jo & Yves for making our stay so enjoyable!! We’ll be back😃

Couldn't have found better. Exactly what I was looking for and more. Beautiful beach, excellent fishing and more than accommodating owners. Thanks Bobby Jo and Yves for your hospitality and some great conversations and laughs. Can't wait til next time!!
Make sure you go to the right one. The Resort is right next door to a campground named Wild Goose Lake Campground. Different place, different owners. The Resort is the one you want. The entrance to the resort is before the entrance to the campground.

The resort and surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous. From the moment we got on site the owners welcomed us as if we were family. We stayed in one of the lakeside cabins which was set up real nice. My group was more into fishing than hunting, but if you're into hunting bears, I heard nothing but good things about it and at least one person got a bear every night! The fishing there was unbelievable, On the resort as well as a couple surrounding lakes the owners showed us. They had a nice Fillet station set up for us to use and the owner's son helped us out cause we didn't really know how to fillet properly! They had boats and canoes which was awesome, we even canoed across the lake to a little island and made dinner over a fire under the stars, it was a pretty cool experience. They also have a little shop on site for your last minute fishing/hunting needs, which came in handy cause we forgot to get batter for the fish! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone, and will definitely be coming back for years to come!||oh and almost forgot to mention the small town called Geraldton, bout 15-20min away from the resort, nice little town to get all your shopping done, plus on Thursday's they have there wing and karaoke night at there bar, everybody shows up and it is an absolute blast!

Belong to a moose hunting group that completed their 24th year staying at this resort. We have a great relationship with the current owners and a lifetime of experiences while bow hunting for moose in the area. ||Cabin #7 has been "Camp Beyondathong's" home away from home for all those years, and the mere fact we have been here for 24 years to date should speak volumes for what we think of this resort. ||I have also gone up in the summer for a fishing trip. Both the hunting and fishing is exceptional, as are the current host. Yves and Bobby Joe run a tight ship and treat you as family.
