We recently visited the most charming Nordic spa for our anniversary and it was an incredible experience. The atmosphere is so serene and peaceful, perfect for unwinding. The sauna was beautifully designed with a large window , the cold plunge offered an invigorating rush that left us feeling completely refreshed. After alternating between the two several times we enjoyed relaxing by the cozy fire pit, which added a warm and rustic touch to the experience. The spa’s attention to detail, from the calming ambiance to the tranquil setting, made it the perfect retreat for relaxation. Highly recommend! So cute!!

As parents who don’t get any alone time this was exactly what we needed. An opportunity to disconnect from the world and reconnect with each other! I liked the privacy of the area and being able to do what you want… read, enjoy the sauna and cold plunge, talk, whatever! There were some cute added bonuses we weren't expecting. The owners were so kind and hospitable. I felt like I already knew them. I look forward to visiting again and will be recommending this place to others .

My wife and I didn’t know quite what to expect, but our experience at the Wilderness Retreat and Nordic Spa turned out to be a highlight of our trip and a great way to end our week. The sauna, cold plunge, and relaxation/temperature regulation process produces a wonderful sensation - almost a natural high of sorts. We did three full rotations. Hydration is important, and the owners provide sparkling juice and a pitcher of cold water to help with this, but we also brought our own water and healthy snacks as well to supplement. The setting is very peaceful, and there is a tablet with music and wireless speaker to assist in your relaxation.

We will definitely make a return trip when we get back into this part of Canada.

We had a great time here! It was very relaxing. I was concerned about doing the ice bath but going from sauna to ice bath is perfect. It was a beautiful fall day and everything was peaceful. A nice patio, hammocks and fire pit. Watching leaves fall and unwinding followed by a nice outdoor shower was a great way to spend a few hours. Time flew by!!

Outstanding experience. The sauna, hot outdoor shower, cold tub, hammocks, and fire pits provided us two hours of relaxation. So private and perfect! The sparkling cold drinks were a wonderful addition. Hospitality was charming. We are going back!

This is a beautiful, tranquil, and private spa location to relax and connect with nature. So many personal touches simultaneously made it feel luxurious and rustic, from soft robes to sparkling juice and water. We enjoyed the gentle breeze as we sat in the comfortable chairs and watched some deer. The hydrotherapy experience left our bodies feeling much better for several days. The staff were incredibly friendly. I cannot recommend this place enough and look forward to returning again soon.

What a lovely time at this wilderness spa. We picked a day where it was extremely hot, but the sauna and cold plunge were both still incredibly enjoyable.

Citronella torches for the mosquitoes which I didn’t see any (and they usually love me).

The hammocks are large and very nice to lounge in, or if you are me… fall asleep in. The chairs are also lovely and love that they have multiple sets so you don’t have to move them around the area, since they are large wooden Adirondack style chairs. One set in the screened area, one set on the deck, and another set at the fire.

Would highly recommend for a little time to enjoy some nature and rejuvenate!

My partner and I had a wonderful first visit at the wilderness spa! We loved the outdoor nature vibe. It’s a very private setting with a relaxing forest and creek view. We enjoyed the complimentary sparkling juice and use of robes. We both love contrast hydrotherapy and the outdoors, so this was just perfect for our tastes. Amazing time of year to go also, no extreme temps and no bugs! Dan the host, is very knowledgeable, helpful and welcoming. We will definitely be back!
