Wow! There are almost no words... we have been in some incredible AirBnBs around the world, but there was something to this place and the incredible hosts found in Mike and Bean unlike anywhere we have been. The amount of forethought that has gone into this creation is next level. Everything you anticipate needing is there and features beyond what you think you need just make this place extra special. We hesitate to tell you all how amazing this place is because we want to still be able to come back annually, but these hosts deserve all the success so we're happy to let you in on our new found secret getaway! We have already told many friends and family members who are planning to try it out for themselves. If you need a tranquil getaway not far from Vancouver, this is the place. As for transportation, a vehicle is definitely recommended for Bowen Island for convenience-sake, but can be done by foot as we did. It was such a pleasure to get to know you and your family Mike, and thanks for sharing your little slice of heaven on Bowen. See you again soon!

This is hands down the best place we've ever stayed at. Bowen island is super easy to get to. Just take the ferry from Horseshoe Bay Terminal, no need to book as it runs at least every hour. The airstream itself is completely private. The hosts were amazing, everything we could possibly want was taken care of. The island was beautiful to explore and the airstream was a true work of craftmanship and creativity. Highly recommend this place 🙂

We’ve been traveling a lot all over the world, but I’m firm to declare it was the best AirBnB we’ve ever stayed. Starting from location, ending in smaaalest details and communication with the host — everything was at the highest level. Me and my husband had an anniversary and wanted to escape from noise and crowds of Vancouver to quiet, greenish place in a forest. That place was perfect, ideal match! Mike contacted me, answering my requests about BBQ, outdoor lights and early check-in. Oh, I wish all hosts to communicate in a such manner as Mike! I was enjoying the stay even before we came to the site, that’s how I was greeted and pleased 🙂 The Airstream and all outdoor surroundings are made with awesome taste and quality, you feel it everywhere: conditioning sensors, bedding, faucets, sound system, coffee machine, vinyl player, bunch of lighting options to make any kind of atmosphere… I can count further! They anticipated literally everything, everything you may need: foil, species, iron, binoculars, wine glasses or authentic coffee cups, anything you may need for cooking, bathing, BBQ, or chilling outdoor. There was a wonderful breakfast prepared and some eggs, milk, yogurt in the fridge. A lovely collection of vinyls, Nespresso equipment and several kinds of coffee, Nintendo and access to Netflix made our stay diverse and fun. It was not cold inside at all (our stay was on Dec 10th), the warming systems worked perfectly keeping desired temperature. We were excited from the first moment while approaching the location until leaving. I highly recommend the Wildernest for couple vacation at any time of the year you will find it a joyful place to stay without a phone, just closely to nature. We appreciate Mike and Bean for creating such a great, unique, tranquil, quality place. We will definitely come back and promote your place to everyone on our way 😂 Thank you guys, and good luck in future development ❤️

Such a great experience at Wildernest. My husband booked the trip for us for my birthday and we were both so blown away by the attention to detail and amenities provided. Mike and Bean are by far the most thoughtful hosts we've ever encountered. There is not a single detail missed

Just some of the thoughtful touches:
- bubble bath for the outside tub
- record player with a great selection of records
- variety of coffee (pour over, nespresso, kettle etc) + extras, variety of milks, coffee beans, grinder etc.
- everything you need to cook your own meals
- local snacks
- projector with easy to use instructions so you can watch any show/movie
- so much more!

Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. We will absolutely be back and would recommend it to anyone.

Truly truly a hidden gem in B.C., can't recommend it enough!

Always such a beautiful, relaxing time here! This time we were able to take advantage of the campfire which became our favorite spot (aside from the outdoor clawfoot tub). Amazing hosts. The attention to details to this space are impeccable. Thanks again Mike and Bean! We can't wait to be back for many more visits in 2024!
