Great place, great people! Had Indian Head massage while da missus was getting pedicure and manicure. Thanks Stephanie, Terri and Ella! Tomorrow March 8 is International Women’s Day and happy to support a woman-owned and operated business!

Me and a friend went to get pedicures on Saturday past. It was fantastic. The girls who did our feet were so sweet, friendly and overall made us feel very comfortable. My feet look great to boot! It was my first time getting a real pedicure and I have to say, I was impressed. I'll be back for sure!

The house is beautiful and feels very historic and luxurious. A little worn and dated, stains in the sink, etc., but that come with the territory. Breakfast is okay, nothing special...strata, fried bologna (apparently a typical Newfoundland breakfast). The jacuzzi was very nice. Brief walk to downtown. Not a lot in the immediate area, but we found a pizza place that was open late.

We stayed 3 nights here and felt it was a good experience overall. The house is close to downtown, university, and airport. nice setting in the first floor. our room was clean and roomy. But a little dark and hot. The bed is also a little soft for us. Breakfast was good, and in the last day the lady even packed our breakfast for our early morning departure. The overall service is OK, but could be more friendly and helpful.

I took my sister-in-law to Winterholme for a few hours of pampering and relaxation and found myself swept away by the history and design of this beautiful property. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the friendly staff, who led us through to the upstairs where Holly and Marissa were pleasantly waiting.||They brought us into a charming room with sloped ceilings, a Jacuzzi tub and heated beds, which is where we had the most relaxing facial.||When it was time to do our manicures and pedicures, we were led to another room designed for that. We were offered a list of hot beverages...I suggest the Chai Latte. Yum. ||I was so amazed by the professionalism of these two young ladies. Not only were they competent and skilled, they were very good-natured and eager to make our experience a memorable one. So thank you, Holly and Marissa.||To sum it up, we had the most wonderful time at Winterholm. I only wish it was still operating as a bed and breakfast because I would love to bring my husband there for a full weekend of relaxation and overindulgence.

Relaxation massage was absolutely amazing. Deluxe Pedicure was about average, compared to other pedicures I have had. Staff were super friendly and professional. Overall my experience was great. Building has a nice historic feel to it.

We spent 3 nights here in late July. If you don't mind a bit of a walk the location is great - away from downtown but walking distance. The decor of the old mansion is charming.||||Breakfast wasn't spectacular, but it was decent and included a couple of hot items. We encountered a few different staff members during our stay: a couple were very friendly, some were quiet, and one seemed rather crabby.||||Bed was too soft for my taste.

Double check the spa entry for reviews for the spa. Don't go with a massage from a non RMT. "Upstairs" is run by estheticians and they provide massages but are not really trained to give them so especially the hot stone massage is disappointing - more details in the Winterholmes Spa page on trip advisor.
