Nice park for stopping by and taking a break while road trip. Located in downtown Revelstoke and lots of fast food restaurants around to make enough supply choices. Kids can have fun with playground and watching cars going through bridge and trains passed.

Whenever we are traveling through Revelstoke and need to stretch our legs, Woodenhead Park is a good place to do it. Has a nice playground and some open fields to walk around in. Walk, take in the sights and then ready to go again.

Usually drive through the town in the summer so nothing fantastic about the view, so will just drive right pass it. It has some paved trails to walk along the river. I think you can fish too if you have fishing license - there are folks fishing at the opposite river bank.

When driving through in the fall, got blown away by the golden color across the river. This is a great spot to capture the Revelstoke bridge and/or the rail with the fall color as backdrop. I will let other more prolific photographers to complete the canvas since I was in a huge hurry.

Great spot to stop on your drive along highway 1. Simple playground and grass to let kids burn off some energy, and they loved that the railroad is close enough to watch the trains go by, but far enough to watch safely. Lots of people with dogs and what seems like a nice trail to the river.

We stayed in Revelstoke and found this beautiful park near our hotel. There is a nice trail to go around the park. We crossed 2 bridges, and after that, headed to a nearby fast-food restaurant to relax and enjoy the view of downtown Revelstoke.
